This study presents an H fault-tolerant fuzzy intermittent control approach for the nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equation (PDE) systems with multiple delays and actuator failures (MDAFs). Firstly, the nonlinear hyperbolic PDE systems with MDAFs are characterized by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy delayed hyperbolic PDE model. Next, by employing the Lyapunov direct method, this paper demonstrates the robust exponential stability using spatial linear matrix inequalities (SLMIs) based on a new switching Lyapunov functional (LF).

The conversion of solar power to hydrogen (H) energy efficiently encounters some obstacles due to the lack of superior catalysts and efficient catalytic approaches. Herein, three-dimensional/two-dimensional (3D/2D) CuS/g-CN photothermal catalysts were obtained via an easy, one-step hydrothermal method after pyrolysis. The favorable heterojunction interface for H production was constructed by snowflake-like CuS embedded in the graphite carbon nitride (g-CN) nanosheets, leading to the acceleration of charge transfer and separation, decrease of charge transfer distance, and perfect realization of photothermal effects (PTEs) induced by near-infrared (NIR) light.

Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles/WS₂ nanosheets nanocomposite was successfully synthesized in this study by a one-step hydrothermal method. Three different contents of Fe₃O₄ in the nanocomposite were prepared by changing the quantity of FeCl₃·6H₂O, ascorbic acid and NaHCO₃. Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles are about 3 nm in diameter and combined with WS₂ to form stable heterojunctions, which are good for releasing the volume change of electrode materials in charge/discharge procedure.

This paper is the further investigation of work of Yan and Liu, 2011, and considers the global practical tracking problem by output feedback for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with not only unmeasured states dependent growth but also time-varying time delay. Compared with the closely related works, the remarkableness of the paper is that the time-varying time delay and unmeasurable states are permitted in the system nonlinear growth. Motivated by the related tracking results and flexibly using the ideas and techniques of universal control and dead zone, an adaptive output-feedback tracking controller is explicitly designed with the help of a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, to make the tracking error prescribed arbitrarily small after a finite time while keeping all the closed-loop signals bounded.
