Mitochondrial dysfunctions are closely associated with different types of disease, including cancer. Carnitine acetyltransferase (CRAT) is a mitochondrial-localized enzyme catalyzing the reversible transfer of acyl groups from an acyl-CoA thioester to carnitine and regulates the ratio of acyl-CoA/CoA. Immunomodulatory agent lenalidomide is effective in treating follicular lymphoma (FL). We conducted the first trial of immunotherapy rituximab plus lenalidomide in newly diagnosed FL in China (NCT03715309). One-hundred and fifteen patients were enrolled and treated with rituximab 375 mg/m intravenously on day 0 and lenalidomide 25 mg orally on day 1-10 for 6 cycles of induction treatment, as well as lenalidomide for 6 cycles and rituximab for 8 cycles of maintenance treatment.

The photoelectrochemical (PEC) urea oxidation reaction (UOR) presents a promising half-reaction for green hydrogen production, but the stable resonance structure of the urea molecule results in sluggish kinetics for breaking the C-N bond. Herein, we realize the record PEC UOR performance on a NiO-modified n-Si photoanode (NiO@Ni/n-Si) by harnessing the adsorbate-adsorbate interaction. The hardness of thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) significantly influences their suitability for various applications, but traditionally, enhancing hardness reduces toughness. Herein a method is introduced that leverages hybrid soft segments to fine-tune the hardness of TPEs without compromising their exceptional toughness. Through the selective copolymerization of polytetramethylene ether glycols (PTMEGs) at various molecular weights, supramolecular poly(urethane-urea) TPEs are molecularly engineered to cover a wide spectrum of hardness while retaining good toughness.

To analyze the impact of salt reduction interventions on the knowledge, attitude and behavior regarding the salt reduction of students' parents based on the home-school interaction model. In April 2021, parents of students in grades 3-5 from three primary schools in Yichang City were selected as the target population using a cluster sampling method, and the parent population was divided into an intervention group and a control group. In the intervention group, a comprehensive home-school interaction salt reduction intervention was implemented, and in the control group, no intervention measures were taken for students' parents.
