Methods: In this multicenter study, we collected radiographs from five hospitals (Hospitals A-E) between November 2016 and October 2019. The study included participants with acute VCFs, as well as healthy controls.
Objective: To develop and validate an artificial intelligence diagnostic model for identifying calcified lumbar disc herniation based on lateral lumbar magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).
Methods: During the period from January 2019 to March 2024, patients meeting the inclusion criteria were collected. All patients had undergone both lumbar spine MRI and computed tomography(CT) examinations, with regions of interest (ROI) clearly marked on the lumbar sagittal MRI images.
Background: Posterolateral decompression and fusion with internal fixation is a commonly used surgical approach for treating degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis (DLSS). This study aims to evaluate the impact of preserving a portion of the unilateral facet joint during decompression on surgical outcomes and long-term recovery in patients.
Methods: This study analyzed 73 patients with DLSS accompanied by bilateral lower limb neurological symptoms who underwent single-level L4/5 posterolateral decompression and fusion surgery from January 2022 to March 2023.
Purpose: Oblique lumbar interbody fusion (OLIF) has become a popular technique for treating adult degenerative scoliosis (ADS), but traditional OLIF technology often requires repositioning for one-stage or staged posterior fixation. The objective of this pilot study was to describe the surgical technique of simultaneous single-position OLIF and percutaneous pedicle screw fixation (OLIF 360) under O-Arm navigation for modified MISDEF type II ADS.
Methods: Between June 2022 and December 2023, six patients classified as having modified MISDEF type II ADS underwent OLIF 360 assisted by O-Arm navigation at our institution.
Objective: This study investigates the clinical efficacy of integrating digital design with three-dimension (3D) printing technology in the transplantation of flaps for fingertip defects.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted from October 2019 to June 2021 on 90 cases of patients with fingertip defects. These included 45 cases in which digital design, coupled with 3D printing, assisted the operation (3D printing group), and another 45 cases where patients underwent traditional pedicle flap transplantation and skin grafting (traditional operation group).

Methods: We trained, validated, and externally tested the deep residual network (DRN) model that automated the detection and identification of fresh VCFs from spinal DR images.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to describe the Mazor Renaissance robotic system-assisted CBT (cortical bone trajectory) screw technique as a salvage strategy for failed lumbar spine surgery.
Patients And Methods: Between January 2018 and June 2022, 7 patients underwent salvage surgery with the CBT screw fixation technique assisted by the Mazor Renaissance robot system in our institution. Intraoperative observations were recorded for blood loss, duration of operation, and fluoroscopy time.
Objective: Recurrent lumbar disc herniation (RLDH) cannot be prevented after full endoscopic lumbar discectomy (FELD), and the optimal surgical treatment for RLDH after FELD remains controversial. The aim of the study was to suggest a surgical strategy for FELD to treat RLDH following a previous FELD and to present surgical outcomes.
Methods: Between February 2015 and March 2022, 68 patients with RLDH were surgically treated with FELD retrospectively.

Factors independently associated with survival after treatment remain poorly defined, and identifying patients who are likely to survive the injury remains challenging.
Questions/purposes: (1) What factors are independently associated with survival after treatment among patients with ASCF-NI? (2) Can a nomogram be developed that is sufficiently simple for clinicians to use that can identify patients who are the most likely to survive after injury?
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted based on a multi-institutional group of patients admitted and treated at one of 29 tertiary hospitals in China between March 1, 2003, and July 31, 2019.
