With the development and generalization of endoscopic technology and screening, clinical application of magnetically controlled capsule gastroscopy (MCCG) has been increasing. In recent years, various types of MCCG are used globally. Therefore, establishing relevant guidelines on MCCG is of great significance.

The genomic landscape of Cronkhite-Canada syndrome: Possible clues for pathogenesis.

Objectives: Cronkhite-Canada syndrome (CCS) is a rare hamartomatous polyposis syndrome with a proposed association with chronic autoimmune inflammation. To date, genetic background of patients with CCS remains less investigated. In this study we aimed to explore the genomic landscape of CCS.

S100A8/A9 Molecular Complexes Promote Cancer Migration and Invasion via the p38 MAPK Pathway in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is one type of malignancy associated with migration and invasion through a currently unclear mechanism. We previously discovered S100A8/A9 levels were roughly elevated in the plasma of NPC patients as the promising biomarkers. However, their expressions and underlying functions in NPC tissues are still unknown.

Standardized patient methodology in mainland China: a nationwide survey.

Background: To describe the current status of standardized patient (SP) practice in mainland China.

Methods: We conducted a nationwide survey in 2016. One hundred and eighty-three SP educators (SPEs) responded to the questionnaire, representing 80 medical centers from 25 provinces in mainland China.

Effects of silencing S100A8 and S100A9 with small interfering RNA on the migration of CNE1 nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells.

The calcium-binding S100 proteins are involved in functions such as cell growth, differentiation, migration, adhesion and signal transduction. S100A8 and S100A9 are highly expressed in a variety of tumor cells, and are implicated in tumor development and progression. However, the role of S100A8 and S100A9 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) cell migration is unclear.

[Hennekam syndrome: a case report and review of literature].

Objective: To study the clinical characteristics of Hennekam syndrome.

Methods: We described a case of long-term iron deficiency anemia, characteristic facial anomalies, growth retardation, and intestinal lymphangiectasia. To our knowledge, this is the first case of Hennekam syndrome reported in China.
