Background: Coronary heart disease seriously jeopardizes human health and has become a principal public health problem of global concern. While percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) repairs narrowed arteries and extends patients' lives, cardiac rehabilitation offers additional benefits post-PCI. Numerous previous studies have shown that cardiac rehabilitation can inhibit the progression of atherosclerotic plaques in patients after coronary intervention, effectively controlling patients' clinical symptoms and improving their quality of life.

Nuclear receptors are critical components of various physiological pathways, significantly influencing insect signal transduction. Although the role of HR78 in tracheal and nervous system development has been well-studied, its function during transformation and reproduction remains underexplored. This study characterizes the nuclear receptor gene AaHR78 in Aedes aegypti, which possesses distinct sequence features, including a DNA-binding domain and a ligand-binding domain.

Current treatments have limitations including relapse, highlighting the need for effective maintenance therapy. This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) as long-term adjunctive therapy to first-line treatment in newly diagnosed patients with NMDARE.

This study presents a microemulsion delivery system that utilizes chitosan/sodium tripolyphosphate (CS/STPP) to enhance the stability of kernel-loaded insulin and increase bioavailability via intestinal absorption and lymphatic transport. The insulin/chitosan/sodium tripolyphosphate-microemulsion (Ins/CS/STPP-ME) is a particle size of (81.

We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ofatumumab as a novel second-line immunotherapy for NMDAR-AE.
Methods: This prospective, multicenter, nested cohort study compared patients with NMDAR-AE from the CHina Autoimmune encephalitiS outcomE study registry (CHASE) recruited between October 2011 and February 2024, treated with and without ofatumumab.
Pre-pregnancy obesity (PPO) seriously threatens the health of both mother and offspring. Pre-pregnancy weight management is particularly important for the prevention of metabolic diseases in offspring. Semaglutide is one of the most effective glucagon-like peptide-1 agonizts for the management of obesity and metabolic diseases, but little is known about its effect on the long-term health of offspring.

Our aim was to systematically review and meta-analyze the correlation between the gut microbiota and autoimmune neurological disorders to inform clinical diagnosis and therapeutic intervention. We searched the databases of PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library until 1 March 2024 for research on the correlation between gut microbiota and autoimmune neurological disorders.

The Big Two personality traits, neuroticism and extraversion, have been identified as significant predictors of problematic gaming in adolescents. However, most previous studies have been cross-sectional, limiting the ability to explore their mutual influences or causality inference.

They were evaluated in this multi-institutional study alongside the results from the Quantitative Dot Blot (QDB) method.
Methods: Three alternative adjacent sections from 40 primary ER+ breast cancer resection blocks were randomly assigned a number from 1 to 120 for Ki67 staining and reviewed by 21 pathologists, while the other three alternative sections were sent for QDB analysis of Ki67 protein levels.
Objective: To investigate the effect of perioperative care bundle in pediatric patients undergoing minimally invasive digestive endoscopy.
Methods: This was a retrospective study using clinical records of pediatric patients who underwent minimally invasive digestive endoscopy surgery at Hebei Children's Hospital from May 2020 to October 2023. Patients were divided into Care bundle group and Conventional care group based on the treatment received and matched for age, gender, and body mass index in 1:1 ratio.
Heart failure (HF) is a globally threatening cardiovascular disease associated with poor quality of life and high mortality, therefore, timely diagnosis and risk prediction for HF disease are urgently needed. Herein, a compact yet robust self-regenerated hybridization circuit (SHC) aptasensor is developed for the amplified detection of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), a "gold standard biomarker" for HF. The aptamer transduction module can specifically recognize NT-proBNP, thus initiating the cascade hybridization reaction with the successively self-regenerated triggers that reversely initiate the cross-hybridization reaction.

Existing therapeutic approaches, including intravitreal injection of antivascular endothelial growth factors (anti-VEGFs) and/or glucocorticoids and laser therapy, primarily address secondary macular edema and neovascularisation. However, these strategies do not address the underlying cause of the disease and may have harmful side effects.

However, our understanding of the mechanisms mediating pathogen-induced JA accumulation in rice (Oryza sativa) remains limited.

Therefore, dysregulation of DNA/RNA binding proteins such as purine-rich element binding protein alpha (PURα) disrupts signaling transduction and often leads to human diseases including cancer. PURα was initially recognized as a tumor suppressor in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and prostate cancer (PC).

Here we report a new technique named as dry-solid-electrochemical synthesis (DSES) for a general large-scale synthesis of SACs with high metal loadings in an energy-conservation and environment-friendly way. With it, a series of pure carbon-supported metal SACs (Platinum up to 35.

We aimed to assess the safety, bactericidal activity, and pharmacokinetics of BTZ-043, a first-in-class DprE1 inhibitor with strong bactericidal activity in murine models.
Methods: This open-label, dose-expansion, randomised, controlled, phase 1b/2a trial was conducted in two specialised tuberculosis sites in Cape Town, South Africa.
Background: Smoking is highly prevalent among HIV-infected individuals and is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Studies on smoking among HIV-infected individuals in China, especially compared to uninfected individuals, are scarce.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate and compare the prevalence and factors associated with smoking between HIV-infected and uninfected men in Guilin, China.
Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common lymphoma in adult, characterized by uncontrolled cell proliferation and strong aggressiveness. Previous studies have found that cyclin-dependent kinase 1(CDK1) are related to tumor growth and metastasis. However, the role of CDK1 in DLBCL is exclusive.

Materials And Methods: The in vitro gelatin models with varying ratios were assessed using SWE to identify the gelatin ratio that most closely approximates with human liver stiffness. Following the characterization of the dispersion properties of MSNs, in vitro models incorporating MSNs of different particle sizes were developed.
Unlabelled: Increasing planting density is one of the most important strategies for generating higher maize yields. Moderate leaf rolling decreases mutual shading of leaves and increases the photosynthesis of the population and hence increases the tolerance for high-density planting. Few genes that control leaf rolling in maize have been identified, however, and their applicability for breeding programs remains unclear.
