This study introduces a novel approach to transport modelling by integrating experimentally derived causal priors into neural networks. We illustrate this paradigm using a case study of metformin, a ubiquitous pharmaceutical emerging pollutant, and its transport behaviour in sandy media. Transgenic plant production in monocotyledonous species has primarily relied on embryogenic callus induction from both immature and mature embryos as the pathway for plant regeneration. We have efficiently regenerated fertile transgenic wheat plants through organogenesis after -mediated direct transformation of mechanically isolated mature embryos from field-grown seed. Growing concerns over the risk of accidental releases of oil into the marine environment have emphasized our need to improve both oil spill preparedness and response strategies. Among the available spill response options, dispersants offer the advantages of breaking oil slicks into small oil droplets and promoting their dilution, dissolution, and biodegradation within the water column.
