Objective: To investigate the effect and mechanism of Shenqi Fuzheng Injection (SFI) in repairing immune function of organism at cellular and molecular levels.
Methods: Seventy-seven patients with pathologically confirmed diagnosis of breast cancer were assigned to three groups, the 22 patients in group A received surgical operation only; the 26 in group B were treated with surgical operation and chemotherapy; and to the 29 in group C, both chemotherapy and SFI were given after surgical operation. Besides, a group D with 22 patients with benign tumor was set up for control.
Objective: To search for a better therapy for temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome.
Methods: Two hundred and ten cases of temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome were randomly divided into a treatment group, a control group I and a control group II, 70 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with warming needle moxibustion plus exercise, with Hegu (LI 4), Xiaguan (ST 7), Yifeng (TE 17) and so on selected, in combination with opening and closing the mouth; the control group I were treated with simple filiform needle needling, and the control group II with local blocking therapy.
Objective: To investigate the repairing mechanism of Fuzheng Peiben Therapy on cellular immunofunction in patients with breast cancer on cellar and molecular level.
Methods: The tumor tissue and axillary lymph node samples were evaluated with the flow cytometry for CD83, CD80, CD86 before and after neoadujvant therapy.
Results: The levels of CD83, CD80, CD86 were singificantly decreased in group A (treated with surgery only), B (treated with neoadujvant chemotherapy plus surgery) and C (treated with neoadujvant chemotherapy plus surgery with shenqi Fuzheng Injection) compared with that in normal team (P < 0.

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of Guliu capsule (GLC) combined with 89Sr in treating metastatic bone tumors.
Methods: On the basis of random sampling and grouping, 50 patients with metastatic bone tumors were selected to receive combined treatment with GLC and (89)Sr with another 50 patients recruited for (89)Sr treatment alone. The therapeutic effect of the therapies were evaluated according to the relief of ostalgia and quality-of life (QOF), local bone metabolism and hematopoietic function of the bone marrow.

Objective: To study the effect of chemotherapy assisted with shenqi fuzheng injection (SFI) on senile patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Methods: One hundred and twenty old patients with NSCLC were treated with NP chemotherapeutic protocol, to the 60 patients in the treated group among them, additional medication of SFI was started one week before the beginning of chemotherapy. The short-term therapeutic efficacy, long-term survival rate, changes on quality of life (QOL) and immune function of patients, and hematological toxicity of therapy were observed.
