Phase analysis is a technique used to assess left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony (LVMD) in nuclear myocardial imaging. Previous studies have found an association between LVMD and myocardial ischemia. We aim to assess the potential diagnostic value of LVMD in terms of myocardial viability, and ability to predict major adverse cardiac events (MACE), using Nitrogen-13 ammonia ECG-gated positron emission tomography (gPET).

We explored the possibility of evaluating for PD with NeuroQ software by analyzing C-2β-carbomethoxy-3β-(4-fluorophenyl) tropane (C-CFT) and F-FDG PET/CT. We retrospectively analyzed brain C-CFT and F-FDG PET/CT of 38 patients with parkinsonism, including 20 with PD, 10 with multiple system atrophy (MSA) and 8 with essential tremor (ET), and compared them with the PET/CT of 11 normal healthy controls (NC).
