A novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensor was developed for the ultrasensitive detection of miRNA-155, based on the synergistic combination of multifunctional nanomaterials. The biosensor employed a conductive metal-organic framework (MOF), Ni(HAB) (HAB = hexaaminobenzene), as the substrate material. The unique π-electron conjugated structure of Ni(HAB) endowed the biosensor with excellent electron transport properties, significantly enhancing its sensitivity.

This study offers new insights into the dual role of secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) in lymphedema, highlighting its impact on lymphatic endothelial cell (LEC) functionality. Through transcriptomic analyses and co-culture experiments, we observed that sPLA2 has both protective and detrimental effects on human LECs (HLECs), mediated by macrophage activation. Our findings reveal that while low levels of sPLA2 promote LEC health, excessive sPLA2 leads to dysfunction, emphasizing the significance of the sPLA2/PLA2R axis and arachidonic acid metabolism (AA) in lymphedema pathology.

In this study, a unit-based comprehensive emission inventory of multiple hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) for the Chinese ISP spanned from 2012 to 2021, including the conventional pollutants, 13 kinds of Trace elements as well as 2 unconventional but toxic pollutants (PCDD/Fs, F), was dedicatedly developed by integrating dynamic localized emission factors with unit-based information of both the detailed activity level and abatement technology application.
