Comparison of 3 treatment methods for midshaft clavicle fractures: A systematic review and network meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials.

Background: Our study aims to evaluate the fracture nonunion rate and the functional score of plate and screw fixation, intramedullary nailing and non-surgical treatment in midshaft clavicle fractures patients using a network meta-analysis of data from clinical randomized controlled trials.

Material/methods: The studies were abstracted from Medline, Embase, Web of Science, Google Scholar and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. RCTs meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected.

miR-20a-5p promotes pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration by targeting ABCA1.

Background: The function of miR-20a-5p in pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) and the underlying mechanism remains largely unknown.

Methods: C57BL/6J mice and PASMCs were used for constructing pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) animal and cell models, respectively. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was employed to detect miR-20a-5p and ATP-binding cassette subfamily A member 1 (ABCA1) messenger RNA expression.

[Anatomical study and clinical application of the sensory perforator flap from the ulnar palmar digtal artery of the little finger].

Objective: To study the anatomical basis of the sensory perforator flap from the ulnar palmar digtal artery of the little finger and its application in reconstruction of soft tissue defect on the finger pulp.

Methods: The origins and distributions of the blood vessels and nerves of the hypothenar region were observed in 6 fresh cadavers whose upper limbs were perfused with red latex. From September 2013 to November 2015,13 cases with soft tissue defects on the finger pulp were treated.
