The escalating demand for high-power and compact-size advanced electronic devices and power systems necessitates polymers to exhibit superior electrical properties even under harsh environments. However, reconciling the seemingly contradictory attributes of excellent electrical properties and thermal stability poses a formidable challenge for current epoxy polymer (EP) materials and their applications. To meet the need, here two classes of bi-aryl diamine curing agents are described that enable polymers to exhibit well-balanced thermal and dielectric properties with functional bridging groups.

Materials And Methods: Sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations, mechanical test, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) measurements were used to investigate the degradation effect of chemicals (hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate, and calcium chloride) on silk fiber in vitro.
Twelve individuals from the allotetraploid crucian-carp,common carp, and red crucian carp were analyzed by using 32 pairs microsatellite primers of the poly (CA) type which were isolated from common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) by Crooijmans et al. Electrophoretogram patterns showed that 15 pairs of microsatellite primers reproducibly produced the well-identifiable bands.

The functional telomerase complex contains a telomerase reverse transcriptase catalytic subunit and a telomerase template RNA. We have previously demonstrated that human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) catalytic subunit is functionally compatible with a telomerase template RNA from rabbit.

Previous studies have demonstrated that Bcl-2 regulates activities of several important transcription factors including NF-kappaB and p53, and also their downstream genes.

(Female) x cyprinus carpio (Male), which has the stable genetic characters and can reproduce themselves. An "all-fish" recombinant DNA construct (pCAgcGHc) containing common carp beta-actin gene promoter and cDNA for grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) growth hormone gene was introduced into fertilized eggs of the allotetroploid fish through microinjection as soon as artificial insemination was done.
