Breast cancer (BC) is a prevalent malignancy among women worldwide. As an anticancer drug of pyrimidine nucleoside analogs, gemcitabine can be used to treat BC, but its clinical application is restricted due to drug resistance. This study investigated the effect of serum exosomal microRNA-3662 (miR-3662) on gemcitabine resistance in BC cells by targeting RNA-Binding Motif Single-Stranded Interacting Protein 3 (RBMS3) and related molecular mechanisms.

MiR-191-5p has been proven to have high expression in breast cancer (BC), while its biological role and potential regulatory mechanisms in BC remain an open issue.
