Association Between Average Daily Activity Counts and Knee Osteoarthritis Progression.

Objective: To explore the relationship between daily activity counts and knee osteoarthritis (OA) progression.

Design: A cohort study using Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) data included 610 participants aged 45-79 years with knee OA or at risk. Daily activity counts were measured using ActiGraph GT1M accelerometers.

Exploration of Establishing Evaluation Indicators for Hand Trauma Rehabilitation Nursing Based on Delphi Method.

Aim: This study aimed to develop an evaluation index system for hand surgery rehabilitation nursing using the Delphi method.

Method: A survey questionnaire on evaluation indicators for hand surgery rehabilitation nursing was developed, and 18 professionals including orthopedic surgeons, orthopedic nursing, and rehabilitation departments were selected. The survey was conducted using the letter method, and a database was established to screen the items, forming a hand surgery rehabilitation nursing evaluation scale.

Construction of CoS Nanoparticles Embedding in N-Doped Amorphous Carbon@Graphene with Enhanced Li-Ion Storage.

Cobalt sulfide is deemed a promising anode material, owing to its high theoretical capacity (630 mAh g). Due to its low conductivity, fast energy decay, and the huge volume change during the lithiation process limits its practical application. In this work, a simple and large-scale method are developed to prepare CoS nanoparticles embedding in N-doped carbon/graphene (CSCG).

Development of a cellulose-based prosthetic mesh for pelvic organ prolapse treatment: long-term evaluation in an ewe vagina model.

The use of vaginal surgical mesh to treat pelvic organ prolapse (POP) has been associated with high rates of mesh-related complications. In the present study, we prepared new kinds of meshes based on bacterial cellulose (BC) and collagen-coated BC (BCCOL) using a laser cutting method and perforation technique. The mechanical properties of pre-implanted BC meshes, including breaking strength, suture strength and rigidity, were equal to or exceeded those of available clinically used polypropylene meshes.
