Objective: This study aims to construct and evaluate an individualized nomogram for predicting the risk of lower limb lymphedema after cervical cancer surgery. Healthcare professionals can utilize line chart models to predict the probability of postoperative lower limb lymphedema in different patients, allowing for the early identification of high-risk patients and facilitating early prevention and treatment.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted among 411 cervical cancer patients treated at our hospital from May 2021 to December 2023.
Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a catastrophic condition with few therapeutic options. Astaxanthin (AST), a natural nutritional supplement with powerful antioxidant activities, is finding its new application in the field of SCI. Here, we performed a systematic review to assess the neurological roles of AST in rats following SCI, and assessed the potential for clinical translation.

Aberrant mitochondrial dynamics are important pathological elements for various immune cell dysfunctions and allergic diseases. However, the connection between mitochondrial dynamics and AR remains poorly understood.

Edaravone, a well-known reactive oxygen species scavenger, is expanding its new scope in field of SCI. The objective of this systematic review is to determine the neuroprotective effects and discuss the underlying mechanism of edaravone in management of SCI.

Metformin, a classical antidiabetic and antioxidant, has extended its application to experimental SCI treatment. Here, we performed a systematic review to evaluate the neurobiological roles of metformin for treating SCI in rats, and to assess the potential for clinical translation.

There is no definite treatment established for neurological complete injury patients. This study investigated the effect of ginseng extract and ginsenosides on neurological recovery and antioxidant efficacies in rat models following SCI and explore the appropriate dosage.

However, for the lakes with serious cyanobacteria blooms, the algal particles are carried by the outflow of the lake and will have a significant impact on water quality. The location at which the Liangxi river meets Meiliang Bay of Lake Taihu was selected to explore the influence of the eutrophic lake on the connected rivers, and high-frequency monitoring was conducted in summer for three consecutive years to analyze the changes in the flux of cyanobacterial bloom particles in rivers and their impact on river water quality.

Riluzole, a sodium channel blocker used to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, has been initially trialed in human SCI. We performed a systematic review to critically assess the efficacy of riluzole in locomotor recovery and damage extension in SCI rat models, and the potential for clinical translation.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLilium is a large genus that includes approximately 110 species distributed throughout cold and temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The species-level phylogeny of Lilium remains unclear; previous studies have found universal markers but insufficient phylogenetic signals. In this study, we present the use of complete chloroplast genomes to explore the phylogeny of this genus.

Expression vector pBAC128F, which carries DREB transcriptional factor gene driven by drought inducing promoter rd29B and bar gene driven by CaMV 35S promoter and maize Adh1 gene first intron, was transferred into the explants of immature inflorescence and immature embryos of hexaploid winter wheat cv. 8901, 5-98, 99-92 and 104 by particle bombardment. More than 70 resistant transgenic plants were obtained.
