Antivortices have potential applications in future nano-functional devices, yet the formation of isolated antivortices traditionally requires nanoscale dimensions and near-zero magnetocrystalline anisotropy, limiting their broader application. Here, we propose an approach to forming antivortices in multiferroic ε-FeO with the coalescence of misaligned grains. By leveraging misaligned crystal domains, the large magnetocrystalline anisotropy energy is counterbalanced, thereby stabilizing the ground state of the antivortex.

Artificial heterostructures are often realized by stacking different materials to present new emerging properties that are not exhibited by their individual constituents. In this work, non-layered two-dimensional α-MnSe nanosheets were transferred onto LaMnO (LMO) films to obtain a multifunctional heterostructure. Specific intestinal metabolites are closely associated with the classification, severity, and necrosis of acute pancreatitis (AP) and provide novel insights for in-depth clinical investigations. In this study, the gut microbiota and metabolites of 49 AP patients at different treatment stages and severities were analysed via 16S rDNA sequencing and untargeted metabolomics to investigate the trends in gut microbiota composition and metabolome profiles observed in patients with severe AP. These findings revealed an imbalance in intestinal flora homeostasis among AP patients characterized by a decrease in probiotics and an increase in opportunistic pathogens, which leads to damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier through reduced short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) secretion and disruption of the intestinal epithelium.

In order to evaluate the relationship between coronary heart disease (CHD) and fractional flow reservation (FFR) in patients with different levels of CHD and diabetes, this paper used AI (artificial intelligence) post-processing technology to detect CHD and FFR. In this paper, 94 patients suspected of CHD who underwent coronary arteriography (CAG) in a hospital between December 2022 and February 2023 were examined by coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) and FFR. Based on CCTA, AI software is used to process CCTA images, diagnose coronary plaques, coronary stenosis, corresponding stenosis of different types of plaques, and FFR values.
