Methods: We searched the MEDLINE, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, CINAHL Complete, and ClinicalTrials.gov from inception to January 23, 2024 for all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of auriculotherapy in the treatment of APP.
Introduction: The precise cause of antibody-mediated immune responses on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and lung function remains unclear. We characterized the relationship between antibody-mediated immune responses to COPD, asthma, and lung function, ultimately achieve the prevention or treatment.
Methods: We obtained summary data from published genome-wide association studies, including antibody-mediated immune responses, COPD, asthma, forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1), forced expiratory volume (FVC), and FEV1/FVC.
Objective: To investigate the effect of acupuncture on advanced cancer patients by meta-analysis.
Methods: Nine databases (the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, MEDLINE, Web of Science, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, and WanFang Data) were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on acupuncture in advanced cancer patients published from inception to February 13, 2023 and updated to June 1, 2023. Primary outcomes were quality of life (QOL), while secondary outcomes were pain, fatigue, and adverse events (side effects).
Brain injury is the leading cause of mortality among patients who survive cardiac arrest (CA). Clinical studies have shown that the presence of post-CA hypoxic hepatitis or pre-CA liver disease is associated with increased mortality and inferior neurological recovery. In our in vivo global cerebral ischemia model, we observed a larger infarct area, elevated tissue injury scores, and increased intravascular CD45+ cell adhesion in reperfused brains with simultaneous hepatic ischemia than in those without it.

Objectives: This meta-analysis aimed to explore the relationship between the dose of acupuncture sessions, acupuncture frequency, and acupuncture duration and its effects on migraine.
Methods: Eight databases were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating the efficacy of penetrating manual acupuncture for migraine published in English and Chinese from inception to June 20, 2024. The robust-error meta-regression (REMR) approach and non-linear meta-regression with restricted cubic spline (RCS) were used to investigate the dose-response association between acupuncture sessions, acupuncture frequency, and acupuncture duration and the frequency of migraine attacks.
Background: The effectiveness and safety of acupuncture therapy to delay lung function decline in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) remain unclear. This study aimed to determine whether acupuncture, as an adjunctive therapy to COPD-guided medication, could prevent lung function decline.
Methods: This randomised, two-centre study was conducted between February 2022 and July 2023.
Objective: To present a bibliometric analysis of global scientific publications on the nondrug and nonsedative hypnotic treatment of insomnia with regard to influential institutions, publications, countries, research hotspots, trends, and frontiers.
Methods: A literature review was conducted by searching the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) databases to identify all publications related to the nondrug and nonsedative hypnotic treatment of insomnia from 2000 to 2021. Eligible publications were reviewed, including annual publication increments, citation analyses, international collaborations, and keyword analyses.
Introduction: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a globally common chronic respiratory disease with a high morbidity and mortality rate. Acupuncture has been proven effective for COPD. Purpose: The effect of acupuncture as adjunctive therapy for acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) was controversial. Thus, we aimed to evaluate the effects of acupuncture for treating AECOPD.
Methods: Eight databases were searched from database inception to July 30, 2023.
Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common respiratory disease and the third leading cause of death worldwide. Previous evidence has shown that acupuncture may be an effective complementary alternative therapy for stable COPD. However, large-sample, rigorously designed long-term follow-up studies still need to be completed.
