Background: C-reactive protein-to-albumin ratio (CRP/ALB) has been proven to represent a biomarker for predicting prognosis in many groups of patients with severe diseases. However, few studies have investigated the association between CRP/ALB and mortality in Japan older people with dysphagia patients.

Objective: This retrospective cohort study aimed to assess the prognostic value of C-reactive protein/albumin ratio (CAR) in older Japanese patients with dysphagia.

Objectives: To evaluate the short-term outcome of treatment by auricular acupressure (AA) on postoperative pain among hip fracture (HF) patients.

Methods: A systematic search for randomized controlled trials on this topic was conducted through May 2022 by searching multiple English and Chinese databases. The methodological quality of the included trails was assessed by the Cochrane Handbook tool, and relevant data were extracted and statistically analyzed by RevMan 5.

Cultivars identification of oat ( L.) seed multispectral imaging analysis.

Cultivar identification plays an important role in ensuring the quality of oat production and the interests of producers. However, the traditional methods for discrimination of oat cultivars are generally destructive, time-consuming and complex. In this study, the feasibility of a rapid and nondestructive determination of cultivars of oat seeds was examined by using multispectral imaging combined with multivariate analysis.

Wrist-ankle acupuncture for the treatment of acute orthopedic pain after surgery: a meta-analysis.

Background: Wrist-ankle acupuncture (WAA) has been reported in the treatment of acute pain in orthopedic surgery. However, the effects of WAA on acute pain were controversial in the current studies. Therefore, the purpose of this meta-analysis was to critically evaluate the effects of WAA on acute pain in orthopedic surgery.
