Background: Some studies found that family doctor contract services (FDCSs) had positive impact on the self-measurement behaviors of hypertension patients. However, evidence concerning the association between FDCSs and blood pressure measurement awareness among hypertension patients is not clear.

Objective: This study aims to explore the relationship between FDCSs and blood pressure measurement awareness among the hypertension patients, and examine whether there is a difference in this relationship among middle-aged and aged adults in rural Shandong, China.

Molecular Mechanism for Improving Emulsification Efficiency of Soy Glycinin by Glycation with Soy Soluble Polysaccharide.

Glycation with carbohydrates has been considered to be an effective strategy to improve the emulsifying properties of plant storage globulins, but the knowledge is inconsistent and even contradictory. This work reported that the glycation with soy soluble polysaccharide (SSPS) progressively improved the emulsification efficiency of soy glycinin (SG) in a degree-of-glycation (DG)-dependent manner. The present study aimed to determine whether the expression levels of midkine (MK) and syndecan‑1 correlate with the malignant progression and poor prognosis of gastric cardiac adenocarcinoma (GCA). GCA tissue samples (n=72) were obtained from the Department of Pathology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology (Luoyang, China). Background: The aim of the study was to test for human papilloma virus (HPV) infection and human telomerase RNA component (hTERC) gene amplification in tissues derived from esophageal cancer, in esophagus displaying atypical hyperplasia and in normal tissue, and to analyze the relationship between them and discuss whether HPV infection and hTERC gene amplification play a role in the duration of survival of esophageal cancer patients.
