Objective: Methylmercuric chloride (MMC) has neurotoxicity, while hydrogen sulfide (H2S) has shown inhibitory properties against nerve damage induced by various factors. The study aimed to investigate the impact of H2S on MMC-induced learning and memory impairment in mice and to explore the underlying mechanisms.

Methods: A mouse model of learning and memory impairment was established by MMC gavage, and sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS) was used as an H2S donor for intervention.

Previous research has established a connection between parental control and bullying. However, the nuanced relationships involving different combinations of psychological control (PPC) and behavioral control (PBC), along with traditional and cyberbullying, remain ambiguous. Thus, this study investigated the associations of specific parental control dimensions and profiles with traditional and cyberbullying, focusing on the potential mediating mechanism of moral disengagement.

To explore the mechanism of Liangfang Wenjing Decoction regulating coiled-coil-helix coiled-coil-helix domain containing 4(CHCHD4) in the treatment of hypoxia on endometriosis(EMs) with cold coagulation and blood stasis. The rat model of cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome was prepared by the ice-water bath method, and then the EMs model was established by autologous intimal transplantation. The rats were randomly divided into model group, low, medium, and high(4.

Objective: Research has shown that hydrogen sulfide (H2S) plays a protective role in many diseases of the nervous system. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of hypoxia on endogenous H2S concentration in the cerebral cortex of Alzheimer's disease (AD) transgenic mice and its mechanism.

Methods: AD transgenic mice were raised in closed boxes and pure nitrogen was introduced to reduce the oxygen concentration to 8%-10%, establishing an animal model of hypoxia.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between coagulating cold and blood stasis syndrome and glycolysis, and observe the intervention effect of Liangfang Wenjing Decoction(LFWJD) on the expression of key glycolytic enzymes in the uterus and ovaries of rats with coagulating cold and blood stasis. The rat model of coagulating cold and blood stasis syndrome was established by ice-water bath. After modeling, the quantitative scoring of symptoms were performed, and according to the scoring results, the rats were randomly divided into a model group and LFWJD low-, medium-and high-dose groups(4.

Endometriosis is a disease that involves dysfunction of mitochondria, imbalance of proliferation, and apoptosis. Coiled-coil-helix-coiled-coil-helix domain containing 2 (CHCHD2) is a major mitochondrial protein which could regulate the mitochondrial function and apoptosis in various tumor cells, promote migration and then lead to tumor progression. This study aimed to explore the role of CHCHD2 on endometriosis.

Objective: We aimed to examine the illness perception characteristics of patients with myasthenia gravis and analyze the associated factors.

Methods: A general information questionnaire, Illness Perception Questionnaire, and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire were used to survey 90 patients with myasthenia gravis. One-way analysis of variance and multivariate linear regression were used for statistical analysis.

Background: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) hold promising potential to treat systemic inflammatory diseases including severe acute pancreatitis (SAP). In our previous study, placental chorionic plate-derived MSCs (CP-MSCs) were found to possess superior immunoregulatory capability. However, the therapeutic efficacy of CP-MSCs on SAP and their underlying mechanism remain unclear.

Background: Cold, an environmental factor, induces many reproductive diseases. It is known that endothelin (ET) is a potent vasoconstrictor, and cold stress can increase the expression of ET and its receptors. The cold stress rat model was developed to examine two parameters: (1) the effects of cold stress on ovarian and uterine morphology, function, and microvascular circulation and (2) possible mechanisms of ET and its receptors involved in cold stress-induced menstruation disorders.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between symptom patterns of cold coagulation and blood stasis (CCBS) and microcirculation disturbance. In addition, we determined the efficacy of modified Wenjing decoction (WJD) for the treatment of CCBS.

Methods: CCBS was induced in rats with an ice-water bath treatment.

In this work, a new assembled copper ions sensor based on the Mn metal-enhanced fluorescence of N-acetyl-l-cysteine protected CdS quantum dots (NAC-Mn:CdS QDs) was developed. The NAC and Mn:CdS QDs nanoparticles were assembled into NAC-Mn:CdS QDs complexes through the formation of CdS and MnS bonds. As compared to NAC capped CdS QDs, higher fluorescence quantum yields of NAC-Mn:CdS QDs was observed, which is attributed to the surface plasmon resonance of Mn metal.

The major aim of the present study was to explore the effects of cullin 4B (CUL4B) on the proliferation and invasion of human gastric cancer cells. Gastric tumor tissues and paired adjacent non‑tumor tissues were obtained from 21 gastric cancer patients, and gastric cancer cell lines (AGS, MGC‑803, KATO‑III, MKN‑45, SGC‑7901, BGC‑823 and MKN‑74) were cultured. BGC‑823 cells were transfected with CUL4B small interfering (si)RNA or control siRNA.

This paper proposes a novel strategy to enhance detection of doxorubicin in human plasma, using homemade CE combined with normal stacking mode (NSM). The detection system of CE named as in-column tapered optic-fiber light-emitting diode induced fluorescence detection system is economic and more sensitive that has been demonstrated in our previous work. The influence of sample matrix, BGE, applied voltage, and injection time on the efficiency of NSM were systematically investigated.

The design of chelating polymers with fast complexation of the metal ions is particularly interest. In this work, the dithiocarbamate-modified glycidyl methacrylate starch was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, (13)C NMR and XRD spectra. Its sorption performance for heavy metals fixation was studied.

Objective: To observe the effects of Modified Wenjing Decoction (MWJD) on the ovarian oxidative damage of cold coagulation blood stasis (CCBS) model rats, thus consummating the action mechanisms of MWJD for treating gynecopathy of CCBS syndrome.

Methods: Female SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group, the model group, and the treatment group. Rats in the model group and the treatment group were placed in the ice water (0 -1 degrees C) to establish the rat model of CCBS syndrome.

Objective: To establish the model of gynecological asthenia cold syndrome by simulating the etiology of gynecological asthenia cold syndrome depending on 'pathogenic cold impairing yang" in Chinese medicine theory.

Methods: The female SD rats were randomly divided into the model group and the normal group by randomized digital table, 20 in each group. Rats in the model group were placed in 0 degrees C - 1 degree C ice water, and the ice water was placed in 4 degrees C refrigerator, twice daily, 20 min each time, for a total of 30 days.

An aminated hypercrosslinked macroporous polymeric adsorbent was synthesized and characterized. Adsorption isotherms for 1-amino-2-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid (1,2,4-acid) and 2-naphthol obtained from various binary adsorption environments can be well fitted by Freundlich equation, which indicated a favorable adsorption process in the studied range. Adsorption for 1,2,4-acid was an endothermic process in comparison with that for 2-naphthol of an exothermic process.
