Background: A number of studies have examined the relationship between the expression of the class III β-tubulin (TUBB3) and the treatment responses to the taxane/vinorebine-based chemotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the results of these studies were inconsistent and inconclusive. Therefore, we conducted an up-to-date meta-analysis to evaluate the prognostic role of TUBB3 in the taxane/vinorebine-based chemotherapy.

Prognostic significance of Tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 (TET2) gene mutations in adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia: a meta-analysis.

Tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 (TET2) gene mutations have recently been recognized in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). We performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the controversial prognostic significance of TET2 mutations in AML. Eight studies, covering 2552 patients with AML, were included in this analysis.
