To explore the effects of microplastic input and straw addition on nitrogen and phosphorus leaching in orange orchard soil, indoor soil column leaching simulation experiments were conducted on orange orchard soil in Dangyang City, Hubei Province. The experiment analyzed the effects of different treatments on the leaching characteristics of soil nitrogen and phosphorus. The results showed that: ① The increase in microplastic input increased the leaching capacity of the soil (TN, NO-N, NH-N, and TP) when only microplastic input was added.

Incomplete immune reconstitution happens in some HIV-infected patients who have achieved persistent viral suppression under antiretroviral therapy (ART). We performed single-cell RNA sequencing for peripheral blood mononuclear cells to analyze B cell receptor (BCR) repertoire and B cell subtypes in health controls (non-HIV-infected, HCs), HIV-infected immunological responders (IRs), and immunological nonresponders (INRs). Several studies have suggested a role for gut mucosa-associated microbiota in the development of obesity, but the mechanisms involved are poorly defined. Here, the impact of the gut mucosa-associated microbiota on obesity and related metabolic disorders was evaluated in a metabolic syndrome (MetS) porcine model. To investigate the effects of microplastics on soil organic carbon mineralization and the changes in soil enzyme activities, an incubation experiment was conducted whereby single applications of either microplastics or straw, and combined application of both, were added to Dangyang citrus orchard soil. The results showed that the combined application of straw and microplastics significantly affected organic carbon mineralization in the soil, but the single addition of microplastics had no significant effect. Compared with straw alone, the application of a small combined amount of microplastics and straw significantly increased soil organic carbon mineralization by 8.

As a potential soil conditioner, biochar plays an important role in alleviating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To clarify the influence of biochar on soil NO emissions during the winter wheat seedling stage, four typical soils in the North China Plain (paddy soil, shajiang black soil, cinnamon soil, and fluvo-aquic soil) were adopted for field experiments, and four treatments were set:Control (CK), Fertilizer (NPK), Biochar (BC), and Fertilizer+Biochar (NPK+BC). A series of octacyanotungstate(iv)-based iron(ii) complexes with the general formula Fe(L)[W(CN)]·nHO [L = (3-pyridyl)methanol (1, 2), 3-methylpyridine (3), (4-pyridyl)methanol (4), and 4-methylpyridine (5); n = 4 for 1, and n = 0 for 2-5] have been synthesized and characterized. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the Fe ions lie in the centre of the compressed [FeN] octahedron in all complexes. Fe and W ions are alternately bridged by cyano groups forming a three-dimensional (3D) bimetallic framework.

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of iguratimod (T-614) in combination with methotrexate (MTX) for active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Presented here are three imidazole-linked tetrahedral zinc phosphonate frameworks based on a special ligand 2-(1-imidazole)-1-hydroxyl-1,1'-ethylidenediphosphonic acid (= ImhedpH4) with both an organic imidazole linker and inorganic phosphonate groups. Three new compounds, namely, [Zn2(ImhedpH2)2(ox)](H2ppz) (1), Zn3(ImhedpH)2(H2O)4 (2) and [Zn3(Imhedp)2](H2ppz) (3) (ox = oxalate and ppz = piperazine), were obtained by hydrothermal synthesis and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 shows a chain structure with the ox ligands linking the [Zn2(ImhedpH2)2] units, and the resulting chains are further connected to form a 3D structure through the strong N-H···O and O-H···O hydrogen bonds between the neighboring chains.
