Background: This study aims to explore the nursing effect of a multimodal pre-rehabilitation programme guided by BCW theory on elderly women patients with breast cancer.

Methods: The participants were divided into two groups. The study group was administered with the pre-rehabilitation model guided by BCW theory; the control group was administered with conventional methods.

Based on our previous research, thirty new 5-amino-1H-1,2,4-triazoles possessing 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl moiety were synthesized, and evaluated for antiproliferative activities. Among them, compounds IIa, IIIh, and IIIm demonstrated significant antiproliferative activities against a panel of tumor cell lines, and the promising compound IIIm dose-dependently caused G2/M phase arrest in HeLa cells. Association of environmental cadmium exposure and bone remodeling in women over 50 years of age.

Chronic cadmium (Cd) toxicity is a significant health concern, and the mechanism of long-term low-dose Cd exposure on bone has not been fully elucidated yet. This study aimed to assess the association between long-term environmental Cd exposure and bone remodeling in women who aged over 50. A total of 278 non-smoking subjects from Cd-polluted group (n = 191) and non-Cd polluted group (n = 87) were investigated.

Salidroside improves doxorubicin-induced cardiac dysfunction by suppression of excessive oxidative stress and cardiomyocyte apoptosis.

Doxorubicin (DOX) is a potent available antitumor drug; however, its clinical use is limited by the cardiotoxicity. Salidroside (SLD), with strong antioxidative and cytoprotective actions, is of particular interest in the development of antioxidative therapies for oxidative injury in cardiac diseases. Now, the protection and underlying mechanisms of SLD against DOX-induced cardiotoxicity are still unknown.
