Magnesium and its alloys have emerged as some of the most promising biodegradable metals for temporary bone implants, but challenges remain in controlling their corrosion and biocompatibility and endowing them with bioactivity and osteogenic functionality. Herein, we presented newly developed bioactive Ca, Sr/P-containing silk fibroin films (the Ca, Sr/P silk) on top of Mg-1Ca alloy to simultaneously improve the corrosion resistance, osteocompatibility, and osteogenic activities important in maintaining mechanical integrity and stimulating bone formation, respectively. To solve the Ti implants-associated infection and poor osseointegration problems, we have constructed the AgNPs/gentamicin (Gen)-loaded silk fibroin (SF) coating with acceptable antibacterial and osteogenic aptitude. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is easily submerged in noise of the complex environment during remote medical treatment, and this affects the intelligent diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. Considering this situation, this paper proposes an echo state network (ESN) denoising algorithm based on recursive least square (RLS) for ECG signals. The algorithm trains the ESN through the RLS method, and can automatically learn the deep nonlinear and differentiated characteristics in the noisy ECG data, and then the network can use these characteristic to separate out clear ECG signals automatically.

The inflammatory mediator high-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of human multiple sclerosis (MS) and mouse experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Glycyrrhizin (GL), a glycoconjugated triterpene extracted from licorice root, has the ability to inhibit the functions of HMGB1; however, GL's function against EAE has not been thoroughly characterized to date. The interest in spin transport in nanoscopic semiconductor channels is driven by both the inevitable miniaturization of spintronics devices toward nanoscale and the rich spin-dependent physics the quantum confinement engenders. Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is an infectious disease that mainly affects infants and children, causing considerable morbidity and mortality worldwide. HFMD is commonly caused by enterovirus 71 (EV71) and coxsackieviruses A16 (CVA16), A6 (CVA6), and A10 (CVA10). Formalin-inactivated EV71 vaccines are currently available in China; however, these vaccines fail to confer cross-protection against infections by other HFMD-causing enteroviruses, highlighting the necessity of developing a multivalent HFMD vaccine.
