Maternal obesity poses a significant threat to the metabolic profiles of offspring. Microorganisms acquired from the mother early in life critically affect the host's metabolic functions. Natural non-nutritive sweeteners, particularly stevioside (STV), play a crucial role in reducing obesity and affecting gut microbiota composition.

However, effective control measures and strategies have not been identified. In this study, a recombinant Marek's disease virus (rMDV) expressing the VP1 and VP2 proteins of CIAV was successfully constructed using CRISPR/Cas9, and a commercial Marek's disease virus (MDV) vaccine strain was used as the vector.

It is revealed that EFI can improve the interaction force between PLA and PBAT by inducing the interfacial crosslink reaction, thereby improving the melt strength of the samples. EFI can also refine the dispersion of CNT in the composites owing to the non-covalent force between EFI and CNT, promote the formation of filler network inside composites, which is demonstrated by DMA and rheological test results.

In this study, we isolated a strain of Ligilactobacillus salivarius XP132 from the gut microbiota of healthy chickens. This strain exhibited resistance to low pH and bile salts, auto-aggregation capabilities, and the ability to co-aggregate with pathogenic Salmonella.

Objectives: This study identified the optimal weight loss target to achieve substantial benefits from metabolic surgery.
Setting: University-affiliated tertiary care center.
This project involved a co-design process involving researchers and kindergarten teachers to produce learning activities that integrated fundamental movement skills (FMS) and mathematics. We piloted the co-designed activities (i.e.

In this study, 1035 educators from 169 preschools reported their views and practices in an online survey, which we examined via and . More than half of the respondents (53%) expected future online teaching to continue, and only 11% of educators believed that parents would reject this form of delivery.

This study uses theory of authoritarianism and democracy in ecopolitics to explore the impact of authoritarian ecopolitical discourse (AED) and democratic ecopolitical discourse (DED) on environmental quality in China. After analysis using panel data and comparison of three main regions, results suggest a negative relationship between AED of the central government and environmental quality.

To reduce fatigue-related tragedies and to increase the quality of a healthy life, many studies have focused on exploring effective methods and psychophysiological indicators for detecting and monitoring fatigue. However, those fatigue indicators rose many discrepancies among simulator and field studies, due to the vague conceptualism of fatigue, per se, which hinders the development of fatigue monitoring devices.
