- - The scientists made a special type of filter using a mix of poly(lactic acid) and a new material called ZIF-8@chitosan to make it better at blocking tiny particles.
- - This new filter worked really well, catching 96.79% of super small PM2.5 particles and 91.21% of slightly larger PM10 particles, which is much better than regular filters.
