Seawater electrolysis is undoubtedly a more sustainable alternative to pure water electrolysis at present. However, it is hindered by the relatively slow kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction and the detrimental effects of chloride ions in seawater that require resolution. In this study, we developed a straightforward synthesis method and successfully prepared FeNiCoMnCr high-entropy oxide (HEO).

Metal-covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs), an emerging type of porous material, have the combined advantages of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs). Of particular interest are MCOF nanosheets with two-dimensional morphology, whose fully exposed active sites and quasi-molecular size are expected to exhibit maximum functionality for a wide range of applications. However, due to their strong interlayer coupling and the potential structural damage during the synthesis process, the preparation of MCOF nanosheets has rarely been reported.

Psychological happiness represents the ultimate pursuit of human beings, and the impact of digital technology on psychological happiness is becoming increasingly significant in the era of the digital economy. Based on data from 2020 China Family Panel Studies (CFPS), this study constructs an empirical model that examines the effect and mechanism of digital technology on happiness. Additionally, this study investigates the heterogeneity and robustness of the impact of digital technology on happiness.

The movement of ions along the pressure-driven water flow in narrow channels, known as downstream ionic transport, has been observed since 1859 to induce a streaming potential and has enabled the creation of various hydrovoltaic devices. In contrast, here we demonstrate that proton movement opposing the water flow in two-dimensional nanochannels of MXene/poly(vinyl alcohol) films, termed upstream proton diffusion, can also generate electricity. The infiltrated water into the channel causes the dissociation of protons from functional groups on the channel surface, resulting in a high proton concentration inside the channel that drives the upstream proton diffusion.

The high-quality development of the healthcare industry is of great significance for improving people's health and promoting the construction of a harmonious society. This paper focuses on the relationship between the development of China's digital economy and the high-quality development of the healthcare industry. Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020, this paper empirically studies whether the development of the digital economy promotes the high-quality development of the healthcare industry.

Developing bifunctional electrocatalyst for seawater splitting remains a persistent challenge. Herein, an approach is proposed through density functional theory (DFT) preanalysis to manipulate electron redistribution in Ni P addressed by cation doping and vacancy engineering. The needle-like Fe-doped Ni P with P vacancy (Fe-Ni Pv) is successfully synthesized on nickel foam, exhibiting a superior bifunctional hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalytic activity for seawater electrolysis in alkaline condition.
