Aim: To investigate the level of compassion fatigue among frontline nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic and to explore the relationship between occupational stressors and compassion fatigue among frontline nurses based on structural equation modelling.

Background: Three years into the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses on the frontlines of the battle were overwhelmed by affective and emotional inputs while caring for patients, and they generally experienced varying degrees of psychological problems. High levels of compassion fatigue can affect nursing quality and patient safety and therefore should be taken seriously by nursing managers.

Effects of early enteral nutrition in patients with severe burns: A systematic review.

Background: Nutritional problems in the early stages of severe burns are prominent and seriously affect the clinical outcomes of patients. Our aim is to analyze the effects of early enteral nutrition (EEN) in patients with severe burns.

Methods: In this study, relevant articles were searched in 8 English and Chinese data, with a time limit from the creation of the database to June 2023.

A Flexible Supercapacitor Based on Niobium Carbide MXene and Sodium Anthraquinone-2-Sulfonate Composite Electrode.

MXene-based composites have been widely used in electric energy storage device. As a member of MXene, niobium carbide (NbC) is a good electrode candidate for energy storage because of its high specific surface area and electronic conductivity. However, a pure NbC MXene electrode exhibits limited supercapacitive performance due to its easy stacking.

Analysis of preoperative influential factors and construction of a predictive nomogram of difficult thyroidectomy.

Objective: To explore the preoperative influential factors of difficult thyroidectomy and establish a preoperative nomogram for predicting the difficulty of thyroidectomy.

Methods: A total of 753 patients who underwent total thyroidectomy with central lymph node dissection between January 2018 and December 2021 were retrospectively enrolled in this study and randomly divided into training and validation groups at a ratio of 8:2. In both subgroups, the patients were divided into difficult thyroidectomy and nondifficult thyroidectomy groups based on the operation time.
