3-Nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one (NTO) is an explosive with broad application prospects. To study the effect of NTO content on the properties of HMX-based cast-PBX (polymer bonded explosive), five different HMX/NTO-based cast-PBXs were prepared and characterized by experiments and simulations. The results show that the addition of NTO is beneficial to reduce the mechanical sensitivity of cast-PBX, but will reduce the energy level of cast-PBX.

Dynamic compressive tests of sand under passive confining pressure were carried out using a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) setup. The dynamic response, energy dissipation and particle-breaking behaviors of sand subjected to high-speed impact were investigated. Sand specimens with moisture contents of 0%, 2%, 4%, 8%, 10% and 12% and relative densities of 0.

The collection process of the pulse signal is easily disturbed by the noise, that will reduce the quality of the signal, and affect its applications on the healthy monitoring system. In order to solve this problem, this paper analyzes the causes of the generation of interference during pulse signal acquisition and the characteristics of interference performance, and puts forward the corresponding detection algorithm for pulse signal interference section. Based on this algorithm, a Cascaded Layer-by-Layer Discrimination method is proposed to evaluate the quality of pulse signals, in which pulse signals are divided into available signals and unavailable signals.
