Based on the pharmacokinetics theory, this study investigated the pharmacokinetic characteristics of albiflorin, paeoniflorin, wogonoside, and wogonin in normal and febrile rats and summarized absorption and elimination rules of Dayuanyin in them to provide reference for further development and clinical application of Dayuanyin. Blood samples were taken from the fundus venous plexus of normal and model rats after intragastric administration of Dayuanyin at different time points. The concentration of each substance in blood was determined by ultra performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS) technique at different time points.

Article Synopsis
  • Soil salinization negatively affects grape production, and the study focuses on the role of a specific type of RNA, called antisense circRNA VvcircABH, in helping plants deal with salt stress.
  • Researchers found that VvcircABH is located in the nucleus and increases in response to salt, while its related gene VvABH decreases expression.
  • Overexpressing VvcircABH or silencing VvABH significantly improved the grape plants’ salt tolerance by regulating how VvABH is spliced and impacting brassinosteroid signaling pathways.

Nine CYRS-FA complexes were prepared by resistant starch in Chinese yam (CYRS) and nine fatty acids (FAs) with different chain lengths and degrees of unsaturation. CYRS-myristic acid and CYRS-palmitic acid showed higher complexing index (CI) and relative crystallinity (RC); CYRS-myristic acid and CYRS-oleic acid exhibited lower estimated glycemic index (eGI). Chain lengths of FAs showed significantly positive correlations with CI and contact angle (CA), and yet, unsaturation degree of FAs was negative correlated with both CI and CA.

Article Synopsis
  • Mixed tin-lead perovskite solar cells have a low band gap (1.2 eV), which allows for high theoretical efficiency and integration into tandem solar cell designs, but face issues with stability and defect densities.
  • This research focuses on enhancing the bottom perovskite interface using multifunctional hydroxylamine salts, which help coordinate perovskite components and improve crystallization while reducing defects.
  • The modifications resulted in solar cells with fill factors of 81% and efficiencies of 23.8%, and the devices retained over 95% of their efficiency after 2000 hours of storage without encapsulation.

Background: Bright flower colour assists plants attract insects to complete pollination and provides distinct ornamental values. In some medicinal plants, diverse flower colour variations usually imply differences in active ingredients. Compared to the common bluish purple of Scutellaria baicalensis flower (SB), the natural variants present rose red (SR) and white (SW) flowers were screened out under the same growing conditions in the genuine producing area Shandong Province, China.
