Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) show optoelectronic properties that are highly advantageous for light-emitting applications. Compared to polycrystalline (PC) perovskite, single-crystal (SC) perovskite exhibits high carrier mobility, reducing ion migration and suppressing Auger recombination. However, SC perovskite light-emitting diodes (SC-PeLEDs) face the following challenges: i) the growth of high-aspect-ratio SC films; ii) the interfacial contact between the SC light-emitting layers and the carrier transport layers.

The management of diabetic wounds has become an important task for the public health system. Hydrogels are highly anticipated as modern wound dressings for the treatment of diabetic wounds, hence we have prepared a MOK-Gel using methacrylated oxidized konjac glucomannan (MOK) crosslinked with acrylamide (AM). On this basis, we have incorporated drugs such as UiO-66 loaded with sodium ferulate (SF) and deferoxamine (DFO) to develop the hydrogel wound dressing DUS@MOK-Gel (a hydrogel composed of methacrylated oxidized konjac glucomannan, loaded with DFO and UiO-66 loaded with sodium ferulate).

Article Synopsis
  • Implantable medical devices like urinary catheters (UCs) improve patient care but can lead to urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) due to bacterial colonization.
  • Recent advancements in UC coatings focus on antifouling and antibacterial materials to combat these infections, highlighting their effectiveness and mechanisms of action.
  • The review emphasizes the importance of ongoing research and development in UC coatings to enhance medical device technology and improve patient outcomes.

High-speed mechanical drilling based on the micro-bit is the mainstream process technology for machining micro-holes in the printed circuit board (PCB). However, the above process to obtain PCB micro-holes is prone to defects, such as hole burrs and nail heads in the hole. In this paper, the micro electrical discharge machining (micro-EDM) was used as an auxiliary means for machining PCB micro-holes to effectively eliminate the defects such as hole burrs and nail heads.

The micro-hole is a key structure in multilayer printed circuit board (PCB), as it enables the effective transmission of electrical signals. At present, the most common way to machine PCB micro-holes is mechanical drilling using micro-bit. However, in the mechanical drilling of micro-holes, these holes are prone to burring at the hole mouth due to the micro-bit failing to cleanly cut through the first layer of copper foil on the PCB.

Background: Red blood cell distribution width to platelet ratio (RPR), Monocyte to high-density lipoprotein ratio (MHR), and Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are novel inflammatory biomarkers in laboratory tests, which are associated with clinical outcomes in malignancy, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. This study aimed to determine their predictive value for the prognosis of acute ischemic stroke after mechanical thrombectomy (MT).

Methods: A total of 286 patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) admitted to a tertiary stroke center in China between January 2018 and February 2020 were treated by MT.
