The residual SYNTAX score (rSS) is employed for the quantification of residual coronary lesions and to guide revascularization. rSS can be combined with other examinations to evaluate the severity of vascular disease and play an evaluative and guiding role in various scenarios. Furthermore, combining rSS with other indicators, benefits prognosis evaluation, and rSS-derived scores have been increasingly used in clinical practice.

Dendrobium mixture (DM) is a patented Chinese herbal medicine which has been shown to ameliorate type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and . We aimed to investigate the underlying mechanism of DM as a therapeutic agent in attenuating liver steatosis in relation to type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). DM (16.

Objective: College Students' sleep quality and daytime dysfunction have become worse since the COVID-19 outbreak, the purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between sleep quality and daytime dysfunction among college students during the COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) period.

Methods: This research adopts the form of cluster random sampling of online questionnaires. From April 5 to 16 in 2022, questionnaires are distributed to college students in various universities in Fujian Province, China and the general information questionnaire and PSQI scale are used for investigation.

Gualou Guizhi decoction (GLGZD) treatment exerts neuroprotective effects and promotes spasticity following ischemic stroke. However, the molecular mechanism of GLGZD treatment on ischemic stroke remains unclear. Our previous study indicated that GLGZD ameliorates neuronal damage caused by secondary inflammatory injury induced by microglia.

There is increasing evidence of the linkage between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and gut microbiota. Based on our previous studies, we investigated the hypoglycemic mechanisms of yam gruel to provide a scientific basis for its popularization and application. Wistar rats were randomly divided into control and T2DM model groups.

Background: Gualou Guizhi Decoction (GLGZD) is commonly used to treat stroke. The present study investigated the potential roles of GLGZD on inflammation involving microRNA-155 (miR-155) in a model of ischemic stroke using middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rats.

Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: Sham operated group, MCAO model group, and GLGZD treatment group.

Inflammatory response that occur post-ischemia is a serious problem in the treatment of ischemic brain disease. MicroRNA-155 is a brain-specific or brain-enriched miRNA, which mediates inflammatory reactions in cerebral ischemic tissue by regulating inflammatory signal and the expression level of SOCS1. The present study was aimed to assess the effect of GuaLou GuiZhi Decoction (GLGZD) on miR-155 expression in activated microglia following inflammation and further explore the role of GLGZD on expression of the inflammation-related gene.

A new one-step synthetic protocol of tris-functionalized Anderson polyoxomolybdates directly from heptamolybdate salts was presented in this Communication. Through this new method, we obtained the first example of Anderson-type polyoxomolybdates with vanadium as the heteroatom. Moreover, the crystals of the products exhibited interesting nanocage or framework extended structures, which were greatly affected by the trialkoxyl ligands as well as the counterions.

The present study aimed to evaluate the impact of dendrobium mixture (DMix) on the gene and protein expression of insulin signaling pathway-associated factors in the livers of diabetic rats. The molecular mechanisms by which DMix inhibits gluconeogenesis were also investigated. A total of 47 female Wistar rats were used in the present study.

A new synthetic approach to tri-substituted trisalkoxy-hexavanadate clusters containing different organic groups was developed in this work. Four mixed-valence or fully reduced POV hybrids were synthesized and structurally characterized, including an amino-containing derivative of hexavanadate, Na[VVO{NHC(CHO)}] (1). Furthermore, a novel mixed-valence POV hybrid was prepared via the amidation of 1, indicating that 1 can be used as an excellent building block for the design and synthesis of mixed-valence POV functional materials.
