Article Synopsis
  • DNA barcode sequences are short DNA segments that identify specific species, usually at least 200 base pairs long.
  • The length of these sequences poses challenges for encoding them in traditional two-dimensional codes for easy tracking.
  • The study presents a method for compressing DNA sequences to create efficient QR codes, which can be easily printed, labeled, and scanned with various software and hardware.
