Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic performance of diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in identifying aberrations in the corticospinal tract (CST), whilst elucidating the relationship between abnormalities of CST and patients' motor function.

Methods: Altogether 21 patients with WHO grade II or grade IV glioma were enrolled and divided into Group 1 and Group 2, according to the presence or absence of preoperative paralysis. DKI and DTI metrics were generated and projected onto the CST.

Background: Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma is an infiltrative, often high-grade glioma of the brainstem that is not amenable to surgical resection. The current treatment of DIPG by radiation therapy showed dramatically improvement of patient's condition, however, the tumor recurs rapidly. More and more studies are focused on the genetic and epigenetic drivers of DIPGs, which may provide more and more novel therapy target for DIPG.

Purpose: Recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is characterized by resistance to radiotherapy and chemotherapy and a poor clinical prognosis. In this study, we investigated the role of the oncogenic transcription factor FoxM1 in GBM cells' resistance to alkylator temozolomide (TMZ) and its potential molecular mechanism.

Objective: To explore the inhibitory effect of arsenic trioxide (A(s2)O3) on the growth of rat C6 glioma cells (C6 cells) as well as finding out the feasibility of using As2O3 as chemotherapy of gliomas.
