Detrimental to Our Digital Well-Being: Campus Sexual Misconduct and Technology-Facilitated Sexual Violence Among University Students in Singapore.

Although increasingly prevalent in Singapore, campus sexual assault and harassment and technology-facilitated sexual violence (TFSV) remain underresearched. Conducted by scholars across social work, gender studies, policy studies, communication, and computer science, this interdisciplinary study explores the impact of technologies such as social media and online platforms on the digital well-being of university students in Singapore who experience TFSV and campus sexual misconduct. We conducted online surveys with 314 students and interviews with 28 students, the majority of whom were women and identified as victim-survivors.

Has the agricultural cooperatives served each member fairly? A new perspective based on utilization level of member services.

With the rapid increase of the number of agricultural cooperatives in China, the problem of fake cooperatives has become more and more serious. The core problem is that some members do not use cooperative services, and elite capture phenomenon appears in the organization. Since services are one of the most important public goods attributes of cooperatives, it is important to ensure that more members use them.

Farmers' cognition of the COVID-19 outbreak, risk perception and willingness of green production.

Existing literature reports that COVID-19 outbreak may affect people's risk perceptions, with disturbances ranging from mild negative emotional reactions to overall mental health. At the same time, the pneumonia pandemic reveals all the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of our ecosystem and makes people reflect on traditional ecologically harmful production practices. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to review the existing scientific literature on these variables, through a survey and empirical analysis, in order to present and comment on the effects and mechanisms of influence between them.

The Effect of Technical Training Provided by Agricultural Cooperatives on Farmers' Adoption of Organic Fertilizers in China: Based on the Mediation Role of Ability and Perception.

Organic fertilizers can be crucial in promoting sustainable agricultural development, but they are not used in a wide-ranging way among smallholder farmers in many developing countries. In China, cooperatives are considered essential subjects of agricultural technical training, but it is more common to join cooperatives without participating in their technical training. Thus, joining cooperatives or not cannot simply be used to assess the role of cooperatives in influencing the farmers' production behavior.

Research on the Impact of Members' Social Capital within Agricultural Cooperatives on Their Adoption of IPM in China.

Agricultural cooperatives are effective facilitators of green production technology promotion. What is the role of social capital within agricultural cooperatives with the most competitive advantage in technology promotion? Using the survey data of 465 citrus-planting cooperative members in Sichuan Province, this study uses the IV-probit model and mediating effect model to analyze the impact role of social capital within agricultural cooperatives on its members' adoption of integrated pest management (IPM) technology. The bootstrap method is also used to test the robustness of the parameter estimates.

External Supervision, Face Consciousness, and Pesticide Safety Use: Evidence from Sichuan Province, China.

Clarifying the factors influencing the safe use of pesticide is essential for scientific decision making to effectively manage pesticide use and promote sustainable agroecological development. The study aims to explore the factors influencing farmers' safe use of pesticides from the perspectives of external supervision and face consciousness. Using survey data covering 534 farm households in Sichuan province, this study empirically analyzes the influence mechanisms of external supervision, face consciousness, and their interaction terms on farmers' safe use of pesticides by employing the binary logit and IV-2SLS model, and further reveals their intergenerational differences on this basis.

Research on the Influence of Education of Farmers' Cooperatives on the Adoption of Green Prevention and Control Technologies by Members: Evidence from Rural China.

The study explores the impact of education of farmers' cooperatives on members' green production behavior. The Probit, Oprobit model and the mediation effect model are used to analyze the influence mechanism of the cooperative's education on the members' adoption of four types of green prevention and control technologies and the overall adoption rate, and the instrumental variable method is used for endogeneity treatment and robustness test. The results show that: (1) The education of cooperatives have a significant positive impact on the members' physical pest control technology, biological pesticide application technology, water and fertilizer integration technology, scientific pesticides reduction technology, and the overall adoption rate plays a critical role.

Effect of Farmland Scale on Farmers' Application Behavior with Organic Fertilizer.

The application of organic fertilizer is an important measure for improving the quality of agricultural products and realizing the sustainable development of agriculture. The original small-scale family business model in China is no longer suitable for the development of modern agriculture. Large-scale agricultural business has become the mainstream trend, accompanied by the increasingly active land-transfer market.
