Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease with a complex etiology. It has been suggested that the pathogenesis of RA begins in the mucosa and then transitions to the joints when many factors interact, including microbial dysbiosis, inflammatory responses, and immune abnormalities at the mucosal site. Data from RA animals and patients suggest there are changes in the mucosal microflora before the onset of RA, and that dysbiosis of the mucosal ecology continues to play a role in the development of arthritis.

This study was to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) platform in the form of an applet that facilitates the screening and management of strabismus on any mobile device.
Methods: The Visual Transformer (VIT_16_224) was developed using primary gaze photos from two datasets covering different ages.
The classic Astragalus-Cassia twig drug pair has a long history of proven efficacy. However, a fewer studies on material basis of the Astragalus and Cassia twig decoction (ACD) was researched at present. The method of UPLC-Q-TOF-MS for classifying and identifying the main chemical components of ACD was established and the differences in composition between single decoction and co-decoction were compared by using HPLC-UV.

The Caco-2 cell model is popularly applied to explore drug transport mechanisms, to evaluate the permeability of drug and to predict the absorption of drugs or bioactive substances in the gut. However, there are limitations to the application of Caco-2 cell model due to lack of a mucus layer, the long culture period and the inability to accurately simulate the intestinal environment.

The concept of quantum key pool (QKP) was introduced to offer an effective strategy for storing quantum keys. However, with the loss on its theoretical security due to storing these keys, balancing the storage of quantum keys and the security requirements of QKD-ONs poses a major challenge in their practical deployments.

However, most long-term resident electronics devices require invasive procedures for implantation as well as a specialized receiver for communication. Here, a gastric resident electronic (GRE) system that leverages the anatomical space offered by the gastric environment to enable residence of an orally delivered platform of such devices within the human body is presented.
