Different types of rural settlement agglomerations have been formed and mixed in space during the rural revitalization strategy implementation in China. Discriminating them from remote sensing images is of great significance for rural land planning and living environment improvement. Currently, there is a lack of automatic methods for obtaining information on rural settlement differentiation.

Although their spatial pattern and the cooling effect of blue-green landscapes have been documented, exploring more accurate and quantitative results is still necessary. For Hangzhou, we combined nighttime light (NTL) data with LST images to investigate the spatial morphology of SUHIs and analyze the cooling effect of blue-green landscapes.

To fill this gap, we developed a novel method to map fine-scale ALAN pollution patterns in urban bird habitats using high spatial resolution ALAN satellite data. First, an ALAN pollution map was derived from JL1-3B satellite images.
