Background: Leaf area index (LAI) is an important indicator for assessing plant growth and development, and is also closely related to photosynthesis in plants. The realization of rapid accurate estimation of crop LAI plays an important role in guiding farmland production. In study, the UAV-RGB technology was used to estimate LAI based on 65 winter wheat varieties at different fertility periods, the wheat varieties including farm varieties, main cultivars, new lines, core germplasm and foreign varieties.

Herein, nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide/schwertmannite nanocomposites (N-TiO/SCH) have been successfully developed as heterogeneous catalysts for the degradation of typical EEDs via photo-Fenton processes. Due to the sustainable Fe(III)/Fe(II) conversion induced by photoelectrons, as-prepared N-TiO/SCH nanocomposites exhibit much enhanced efficiency for the degradation of bisphenol A (BPA; ca.

The results showed that compared with those under CK, the addition of biochar treatment significantly increased the plant height, root length, shoot fresh weight, and root fresh weight of lettuce ( < 0.05).

However, there remains a lack of clarity regarding specific contributions of light irradiation and catalyst structure in this process. Herein, a photo-assisted peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation system is designed for the highly efficient degradation of organic contaminants on oxygen vacancy-enriched nolanites (Vo-FVO).

Frequent occurrence of drought disaster will seriously affect the growth and development of winter wheat (). We set different water stress treatments (80%, 60%, 45%, 35%, 30% of field water capacity) to simulate the severity of drought disaster. We measured free proline content (Pro) of winter wheat, and investigated the responses of Pro to canopy spectral reflectance under water stress.

Heterozygous pathogenic variants of or rearrangement involving the long arm of chromosome 17 are the causes of disease. However, evidence for pathogenesis of haploinsufficiency is insufficient.

Macrophages (MΦ), as the key mediators of the inflammatory response, run through all stages of the occurrence and development of AS, from plaque initiation to the transition to vulnerable plaques, and are regarded as important therapeutic targets. It was previously thought that the atherogenic mechanism of MΦ was mainly due to their phagocytosis of lipids, resulting in excessive foam cells aggregated on the arterial wall.

The catalytic activity of MCS nanocomposites was evaluated based on catalytic 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) reduction with NaBH as the reducing agent. It was noteworthy that the MCS-3 was beneficial to obtain a superior reaction rate constant of 2.

Besides, winter wheat yield during the maturation stage and the relationship between yield and canopy spectral reflectance were also analyzed. Two multivariate methods, namely, the successive projections algorithm (SPA) and multiple linear regression (MLR), were combined to explore the relationship between the spectral reflectance and yield.

Acid mine drainage (AMD) is a serious environmental problem resulting from extensive sulfide mining activities. There is a lack of more comprehensive and detailed studies on the effect of AMD on calcareous soil characteristics and seed germination. In this study, five calcareous soil samples, collected from Xiaoyi, Taigu, Xiangning, Hejin, and Xixian counties in Shanxi Province, China, were used to investigate the effects of acid AMD on soil characteristics and L.

As a major province of mineral resources in China, Shanxi currently has 6000 mines of various types, and acid mine drainage (AMD) is a major pollutant from the mining industry. Calcareous soil is dominant in western North China (including the Shanxi Province), therefore, clarifying the migration behavior of the main AMD pollutants (H⁺, S, Fe, heavy metals) in calcareous soil is essential for remediating AMD-contaminated soil in North China. In this study, the migration behavior of the main pollutants from AMD in calcareous soil was investigated using soil columns containing 20 cm of surficial soil to which different volumes of simulated AMD were added in 20 applications.
