The present study investigated the effect of immersion in the excipient lime water on the toxic component lectin protein and explained the scientific connotation of lime water detoxication during the processing of Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum. Western blot was used to investigate the effects of immersion in lime water with different pH(pH 10, 11, and 12.4), saturated sodium hydroxide, and sodium bicarbonate solution on the content of lectin protein.

The detection conditions were 2.5 μg·mL~(-1) working concentration of the captured antibody and 1∶450 of the dilution multiple of detected antibody.

The present study aims to investigate the correlation between irritant toxicity variation and lectin content variation during the processing of Pinelliae Rhizoma products and to explore the feasibility of Western blot as a method for the detection of lectin. We processed Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum Cum Alumine, Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum, and Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatumcum Zingibere et Alumine to different degrees and then analyzed their irritant toxicity via Draize rabbit eye test. Western blot was employed to determine the lectin content in Pinelliae Rhizoma products processed with different methods.

It showed well effect on alcoholic liver injury (ALI), but studies on its active ingredients and mechanisms against ALI remain at the starting stage.
Aim Of The Study: This work aims to explore the active ingredients and pharmacological mechanisms of PCP against ALI.
With the increase of the aging population, the high mortality and disability rates caused by ischemic stroke are some of the major problems facing the world, and they dramatically burden the society. (Burk) F. H.

Tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) is a novel tenofovir prodrug with a 90% reduction in plasma tenofovir concentrations. We aimed to assess the non-inferiority of a TAF-containing combination regimen versus a TDF-containing fixed-dose single-tablet regimen in the antiretroviral-treatment-naive, HIV-1-infected patients.

Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Trial Registry were systematically searched for eligible studies. We extracted and evaluated the pooled data from available randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) and non-NRTIs (NNRTIs) with boosted protease inhibitors are included in standardized first-line and second-line regimens. Recent World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines recommend a boosted protease inhibitor (PI) combined with 2 NRTIs or raltegravir as a second-line regimen. Ritonavir-boosted lopinavir (LPV/r) is known as a key second-line antiretroviral therapy (ART) in resource-limited settings.
