[Clinical research and the rules of acupoint selection on acupuncture treatment of psoriasis in the past 20 years].

Objectives: To sum up clinical researches and the rule of acupoint selection on the treatment of psoriasis by acupuncture and moxibustion in the past 20 years, so as to provide new ideas and reference for improving the clinical effect of acupuncture for psoriasis.

Methods: Research papers, published from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2022 in both Chinese and English, were searched from databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform (WanFang), and Chinese Science and Technology Journal (CSTJ), PubMed, Embase and Web of Science by using key words of psoriasis, psoriases, psoriasis vulgaris, acupuncture, needle, acupoint and moxibustion. Then, Microsoft Excel 2021 was used for data entry, extraction and sorting of the included literature, data extraction mainly includes diagnostic criteria, treatment methods, treatment frequency, total course of treatment, selection of acupoints, efficacy evaluation and outcomes.

Variation characteristics of microorganisms at different soil depths of typical forests in southwest China.

Microbial biomass and community structure play a significant role in soil carbon cycling. There is a large amount of organic carbon in the subsoil, but most studies on soil microbial community have focused on the surface soil. The changes and influencing mechanisms of microbial community in subsoil are unclear.

[Treatment of chronic urticaria with acupuncture and moxibustion by "mind-body regulation" based on "psychosomatic medicine"].

The treatment idea for chronic urticaria with acupuncture and moxibustion by "mind-body regulation" is explored in reference with "psychosomatic medicine". Chronic urticaria refers to "mind and body comorbidity" because and blood dysfunction and emotional abnormality are presented simultaneously in the disease and affected each other. In clinical diagnosis and treatment, the mutual regulation of mind and body should be considered to improve the curative effect.

Misdiagnosed dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa pruriginosa: A case report.

Background: Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa pruriginosa (DEB-Pr) is a rare subtype of DEB, characterized by recurrent pruritus of the extremities, pruritus papules, nodules, and mossy-like plaques. To date, fewer than 100 cases have been reported. We report a misdiagnosed 30-year-old man with sporadic late-onset DEB-Pr who responded well to tacrolimus treatment, thereby serving as a guide to correct diagnosis and treatment.

Effectiveness comparisons of acupuncture for psoriasis: A Bayesian network meta-analysis protocol.

Background: Psoriasis is an immune-mediated polygenic hereditary skin disease quality of the patients' life because of the great trouble it causes to patients. Whereas there is variability when we regard the selection of acupuncture treatments in practice and most choices are made based on personal experience or preference of clinician. This study uses network meta-analysis to compare the effectiveness of different forms of acupuncture for psoriasis and assesses the evidence with the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach.

Whether Fire-needle Therapy Benefits Plaque Psoriasis: A Multicenter, Randomized, and Controlled Trial.

Objective: To observe the clinical effectiveness and safety of fire-needle therapy, an external approach of Chinese medicine in treating plaque psoriasis.

Methods: This study was a two-parallel-arm randomized controlled trial. A total of 151 participants with plaque psoriasis were randomly assigned to the fire-needle therapy group (treatment group, 76 cases) or the control group (75 cases) at a 1:1 allocation ratio using SAS software.
