Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a type of neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by atypical brain development. Previous whole-brain BrainAGE studies have unveiled the presence of accelerated or delayed brain function developmental patterns in individuals with ASD. However, it remains unclear whether these patterns manifest at a global level throughout the entire brain or are specific to certain functional sub-networks.

ACVPICPred: Inhibitory activity prediction of anti-coronavirus peptides based on artificial neural network.

Peptides, as small molecular compounds, exhibit prominent advantages in the inhibition of coronaviruses due to their safety, efficacy, and specificity, holding great promise as drugs against coronaviruses. The rapid and efficient determination of the activity of anti-coronavirus peptides (ACovPs) can greatly accelerate the development of drugs for treating coronavirus-related diseases. Hence, we present ACVPICPred, a computational model designed to predict the inhibitory activity of ACovPs based on their sequences and structural information.

Synergistic promotion of nitrogen vacancies and single atomic dopants on Pt/CN for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.

CN is widely applied in the synthesis of single-atom catalysts. However, understanding on the active site and the reaction mechanism is not fully in consensus. Especially, bare studies have considered the coordination environment of the single-atomic dopant and the effect of nitrogen vacancy on CN.

A pot experiment including five treatments, i.e., CK (neither fertilizer nor super absorbent polymers), U (urea alone), S [super absorbent polymers (SAP) alone], SUM (SAP mixed with urea) and SUG (gel made of SAP and urea) was conducted to evaluate their effects on fine root morphological characteristics, fine root absorption area, fine root nitrogen metabolism and nitrogen use efficiency of Platycladus orientalis bareroot seedlings.
