[Application of CT radiomics in investigating the anatomical basis of chronic dacryocystitis].

To explore the relevant anatomical factors in the pathogenesis of chronic dacryocystitis based on CT radiomics. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the general data and sinus CT materials of 85 patients with chronic dacryocystitis（case group） admitted to our department from December 2020 to December 2023, and 85 individuals undergoing physical examination（control group） during the same period. The differences in anatomical parameters between the two groups were compared to study the morphological characteristics of the nasolacrimal duct in patients with chronic dacryocystitis.

The environmental fate of strontium (Sr) and cesium (Cs), as the critical radioactive fission products, have raised significant concerns regarding radioactive waste disposal and environmental protection. The current study investigated the distinction in the binding configurations of Sr and Cs on various 2:1 phyllosilicate (illite, vermiculite, and montmorillonite) by combining batch adsorption, sequential extraction, and spectroscopic analyses. The results show that strontium adsorption is strongly influenced by pH as well as ionic strength, while there is no significant variability in strontium adsorption by different types of clay minerals.

However, its impact on soil organic carbon (SOC) content has not been synthesized and the relative effects of different CRAAs practices on SOC have not been assessed. Our meta-analysis aims to synthesize the effect of diverse CRAAs regimes on SOC content based on results from 200 field experiments.

New sesquiterpenoids with neuroprotective effects in vitro and in vivo from the Picrasma chinensis.

Three undescribed sesquiterpenes, designed as pichinenoid A-C (1-3), along with nine known ones (4-12) were isolated from the stems and leaves of Picrasma chinensis. The new isolates including their absolute configurations were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic methods, single crystal X-ray diffraction, and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) experiments, as well as comparison with literature data. Structurally, compounds 1 and 2 are descending sesquiterpenes, while pichinenoid C (3) is a rare sesquiterpene bearing a 2-methylenebut-3-enoic acid moiety at the C-6 side chain.
