Purpose: To evaluate the effect of ovarian endometrioma aspiration on IVF/ICSI outcomes.

Methods: The PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wanfang databases were searched to identify studies related to the treatment of endometrioma up to October 1, 2020, and the data of 1207 patients from 10 studies were analyzed using STATA.

Results: The 10 studies in our analysis included 7 comparing aspiration and surgery and 6 comparing aspiration with no intervention.

An efficient gold and chiral phosphoric acid cooperatively catalyzed enantioselective oxidative cyclization/Mannich-type addition reaction of homopropargyl amides with nitrones has been developed, which provides chiral pyrrolidin-3-ones in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities under mild conditions. This reaction employed stable and readily available alkynes as non-diazo carbene precursors, which provides a 100% atom economy method with high bond formation efficiency.

Aiming at the problem that the weak features of non-stationary vibration signals are difficult to extract under strong background noise, a multi-layer noise reduction method based on ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) is proposed. First, the original vibration signal is decomposed by EEMD, and the main intrinsic modal components (IMF) are selected using comprehensive evaluation indicators; the second layer of filtering uses wavelet threshold denoising (WTD) to process the main IMF components. Finally, the virtual noise channel is introduced, and FastICA is used to de-noise and unmix the IMF components processed by the WTD.

The extensive use of neonicotinoid pesticides has led to their widespread presence in the environment, resulting in considerable safety risks to the ecosystem and human health. In this study, we investigated the biotransformation behavior of a cocktail of multiple neonicotinoids and piperonyl butoxide (PBO) synergist and their potential environmental health risk. It was found that neonicotinoids with a cyano group, such as acetamiprid and thiacloprid, tended to accumulate in liver and spleen tissues, while others with nitro groups (imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin, dinotefuran, and nitenpyram) were mostly excreted in urine.
