Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common bone malignancy. c-MET is recognized as a therapeutic target. However, traditional c-MET inhibitors show compromised efficacy due to the acquired resistance and side effects.

Therefore, developing a flexible supercapacitor with excellent mechanical properties and stable electrochemical performance under different strains remains a challenge. Based on the previous cartilage-like structure, we designed a new coarse nanofiber bundle and ordered network.

Neurosyphilis (NS) is an infectious disease caused by invading the central nervous system. It can manifest at any stage of syphilis, and is often misdiagnosed due to its atypical and progressive symptoms. The increasing incidence of NS underscores the necessity for early and accurate diagnosis.

This study focuses on the role and mechanisms of OGT in osteogenesis.
Materials And Methods: We found that OGT is downregulated in osteoporosis by bioinformatics analysis, determined its role in osteogenic differentiation by using OGT inhibitors (or OGA inhibitors) as well as conditional knockout OGT mice in and in , and explored and specific mechanisms by quantitative proteomic analysis and RNA-seq, qRT-PCR, western blotting, immunofluorescence, H&E, ALP, ARS, Masson staining, IHC, micro CT, etc.
Background: The failure of conventional therapies and the propensity for recurrence and metastasis make triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) a formidable challenge with grim prognoses and diminished survival rates. Immunotherapy, including immune checkpoint blockade and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy, presents innovative and potentially more effective strategies for addressing TNBC. Within this context, the inducible costimulator (ICOS), a member of the CTLA4/CD28 family, plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses and T-cell differentiation by binding to its ligand ICOSL.

However, the complex mycobacterial cell walls with extremely low permeability and flowability greatly decrease the overall conversion efficiency. Herein, we preliminarily identified two key acyltransferases encoded by Mn_TmaT and Mn_SucT required for the proper synthesis of cell wall in mycobacteria and achieved a significant increase in cell permeability by disrupting them without affecting the cell wall structural stability.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of dental caries of 4-year-old children in Miyun District of Beijing by international caries detection and assessment system (ICDAS), to detect the caries activity Cariostat value and to analyze the correlation between the Cariostat value and dental caries.
Methods: Totally 815 children aged 4 years in 7 kindergartens in Miyun District of Beijing were recruited. The clinical examination of all children was conducted by one examiner using ICDAS.
Objectives: Certain rhythmic arterial pressure waves in humans and animals have been noticed for over one century. We found the novel and slowest arterial pressure waves in children following surgical repair for CHD, and examined their characteristics and clinical implications.
Methods: We enrolled 212 children with 22 types of CHD within postoperative 48 h.

Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are a class of conserved pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) that are crucial for initiating the innate immune response and aiding in the clearance of pathogenic organisms. Many studies have identified TLR4 as a distinctive member of the TLR family, capable of activating both the Myeloid differentiation factor 88-dependent signaling pathway (MyD88-dependent) and the TIR-domain-containing adaptor inducing IFN-β dependent signaling pathway (TRIF-dependent). Nevertheless, the role of TLR4 in Cephalopoda is still largely unexplored.

Methods: Eligible post-BCS patients who received IORT or EBRT were included in the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database from 2010 to 2018. Risk factors that affected 5-year overall survival (OS) or breast cancer specific survival (BCSS) were identified by Cox proportional hazards regression analysis.
The present study aimed to explore the association between serum cystatin C (Cys-C) levels and visceral fat area (VFA) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). A total of 208 previously diagnosed T2DM patients who visited our hospital from September 2019 to December 2021 were included and divided into three groups based on tertiles of Cys-C levels, namely, Groups C1, C2, and C3. The clinical data of the subjects were collected, biochemical parameters such as Cys-C levels were determined, and bioelectrical impedance analysis was applied to determine the VFA and subcutaneous fat area (SFA).

FTD is receiving increasing attention because it is the second leading cause of early-onset dementia after Alzheimer's disease. This study aimed to analyse the research trends and hotspots of FTD from 2000 to 2022 using bibliometrics.

Amantadine is the main drug recommended for the treatment of LID by current guidelines, but it is far from meeting clinical needs. Tianqi Pingchan Granule (TPG), a compound Chinese herbal medicine, has been developed to relieve symptom of LID.

The study is a part of a student research project on performance-based evaluation of big data application in health sciences libraries. It presents a theoretical framework of the performance-based evaluation system for health institutes' libraries in the digital environment. The health sciences libraries' systematic approach was judged based on the five main components (data culture, organisational infrastructure, responsibilities, skills and technology competence) of big data analytics (BDA).

TH can act on the liver, fat, and other tissues and organs to participate in lipid synthesis and breakdown through multiple pathways. Consequently, abnormal thyroid function is often accompanied by lipid metabolism disorders.
