Surface improvement of implants is essential for achieving a fast osseo-integration. Technically, the creation of a precise pattern on a titanium alloy surface is challenging. Here, the femtosecond laser was chosen as an innovative technology for texturing with accuracy a nano-micro topography.

This process is spatially and temporally coordinated resulting from the interactions between cellular and viral proteins. Here we examined the effects of the sub-cellular localization and dynamics of Rev on the efficiency of nucleocytoplasmic transport of HIV-1 Gag transcripts and virus particle production.

Purified V1/V2-specific S-IgA antibodies were found to neutralize clades A, B and C primary isolates in five out 76 and 82 patients from each cohort, respectively. These results suggest that neutralizing S-IgA antibodies targeting the V1/V2 domain may provide protection against HIV-1 infection in vivo and may be beneficial in mucosal vaccines.
