Background: Real-time monitoring of pediatric epileptic seizures poses a significant challenge in clinical practice. In recent years, machine learning (ML) has attracted substantial attention from researchers for diagnosing and treating neurological diseases, leading to its application for detecting pediatric epileptic seizures. However, systematic evidence substantiating its feasibility remains limited.

Lactate exhibits various biological functions, including the mediation of histone and non-histone lactylation to regulate gene transcription, influencing the activity of T lymphocytes, NK cells, and macrophages in immune suppression, activating G protein-coupled receptor 81 for signal transduction, and serving as an energy substrate. The mA modification represents the most prevalent post-transcriptional epigenetic alteration. It is regulated by mA-related regulatory enzymes (including methyltransferases, demethylases, and recognition proteins) that control the transcription, splicing, stability, and translation of downstream target RNAs.

NAI for 60 min decreased weight loss, mitigated decay, and maintained hardness of the apple fruit during the 40 weeks of storage. Treatment of fruits with NAI for 60 min enhanced the apple defense ability against pathogens by maintaining the cell wall integrity and improving the related-enzyme activities as well as accumulation of total phenols and flavonoids.

IP alone has been analysed as a site-specific ectopic pregnancy (EP) in previous studies; however, according to the latest European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology criteria, IP is classified as a tubal pregnancy. If IP can be classified as a tubal pregnancy, then there is no difference in the effects of these two methods on intrauterine pregnancies (IUPs).

In this study, 'Eureka' lemons were used as experimental materials and stored at 7-8 °C MT (melatonin, 200 μmol, soaked for 15 min) and CA (controlled atmosphere, 2-3% O + 15-16% CO) individually or in combination for 30 d. The changes in lemon fruits' basic physicochemical properties, enzyme activities, and antioxidant capacities were studied.

In this study, we aimed to investigate the pregnancy outcomes in women with intrauterine twin pregnancies complicated with EP after assisted reproductive technology.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed the medical records of 42 women diagnosed with intrauterine twin pregnancies complicated with EP via ultrasound or surgery at our hospital between January 2005 and December 2020.
In recent years, Aksu apple has become popular with consumers because of its unique texture and taste. At present, maintaining quality during storage is the key problem with the apples in the Aksu region. 1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) can delay fruit senescence, so is widely used in fruit preservation.

Owing to the rarity of CSP, little is known about it. This study aimed to evaluate the value of the first-trimester transvaginal sonography (TVS) diagnosis and the risk factors of CSP after in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET).

Design: A retrospective case series.
Setting: An assisted reproductive technology center.
Background: Some causes of first-line treatment failure for ITP are often closely related to infections. But parasitic infections are rarely mentioned and easily overlooked. The case is the first to describe a boy with immune thrombocytopenia associated with blastocystis hominis.

We aim to synthesize published Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) evidence on the efficacy of exenatide in obese children and adolescents. We conducted a comprehensive search and analysis of relevant studies in popular databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane Library.

However, there is controversy over the independent evaluation values of various ultrasound indicators. Some researchers have designed multi-indicator prediction systems, but their prediction values are uneven.

For , a flatfish in China, although the importance of chromosome W and its specific gene in female-biased SSD have been suggested, its family members and regulation information are still unknown. At present, three copies gene were identified on chromosome W, with no gametologs.

The treatments included raw juice (RJ), pasteurized juice (90 °C, 1 min, PJ), and thermosonicated juice (480 W, 40 kHz at 40, 50, or 60 °C, for 10, 20, 30, or 40 min, TJ). The results indicated that the effects of pasteurization and thermosonication on the pH, total soluble solids, and titratable acidity of the juice were not significant ( > 0.

To address this issue, LLB was homogenised twice at different pressures (0~100 MPa) using a homogeniser. This study aims to investigate the changes in the particle size distribution (PSD), microstructure, rheological behaviour, sedimentation index (IS), turbidity, physicochemical properties, and sensory quality of LLBs after homogenisation treatments.

Compared with control (CT), CA and CA+NO both improved the storage quality of the samples, but only CA resulted in more ethanol production.

Tumour necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 2 (TNFAIP2) is a gene induced by tumor necrosis factor in endothelial cells. TNFAIP2 has important functions in physiological and pathological processes, including cell proliferation, adhesion, migration, angiogenesis, inflammation, tunneling nanotube (TNT) formation and tumorigenesis. Moreover, TNFAIP2 is the key factor in the formation of TNTs.

However, there is currently a controversial debate surrounding this issue. In this meta-analysis, we aimed to explore the association between delayed antibiotic use and mortality in patients with sepsis and septic shock.

The high proportion of males in hinders their industrial development. The genetic ZW individual can become a pseudomale by sex reversal. And the pseudomale can produce Z-sperm (with epigenetic information to cause sex reversal) while W-sperm is absent, which leads to an even higher male proportion in offspring.
