Objective: This study compared the effectiveness of various cleaning approaches, including spray rinsing, repreparing with diamond burs, and using phosphoric acid or sodium hypochlorite alone or with polyphenols (resveratrol or myricetin), in removing blood contamination from the dentine after adhesive light-curing.

In this paper, we present a novel robust adaptive neural network-based control framework to address the ride height tracking control problem of active air suspension systems with magnetorheological fluid damper (MRD-AAS) subject to uncertain mass and time-varying input delay. Poor osteogenesis caused by limited bioactivity and peri-implantitis caused by bacterial colonization are the main challenges affecting the use of zirconia-based materials in dental implants. Accordingly, the development of a surface treatment method with an antibacterial effect and that promotes osteogenesis without damage to cells is crucial for yttrium-stabilized tetragonal zirconia (Y-TZP) implants. Herein, we have developed a functional surface modification strategy whereby a poly (ethylene imine)/hyaluronic acid /chitosan-chlorogenic acid (PEI/HA/CGA-CS) conjugate is deposited on a zirconia surface by the layer-by-layer (LBL) technique, enhancing its osteogenic differentiation and antibacterial activities.

Inflammation, abnormal cholesterol metabolism, and macrophage infiltration are involved in the destruction of the extracellular matrix of the nucleus pulposus (NP), culminating in intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). Whether nimbolide (Nim), a natural extract, can alleviate IDD is unclear. In this study, we demonstrated that Nim promotes cholesterol efflux and inhibits the activation of the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-B) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways by activating sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) in nucleus pulposus cells (NPCs) during inflammation.
