Objectives: To investigate Gegen Qinlian Decoction (GQD) combined with metformin for treatment of patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM).
Methods: This retrospective observational study reviewed the clinical data of 89 patients diagnosed with T2DM in the Department of Acupuncture and Massage, Hainan Medical University from January 2021 to June 2022. Patients were non-randomized and divided into two groups based on the treatment received: observation group (n=41, GQD combined with metformin); control group (n=48, metformin only).
Objective: To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Exercise (TCE) for sarcopenia.
Methods: A literature search was conducted in eight online databases from inception until September 2022. Based on the Cochrane risk of bias tool, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with RoB score ≥ 4 were included for further analyses.
The genus of filamentous entomopathogenic fungi plays a pivotal role in regulating insect populations. Metalloproteases (MEPs) are a widely distributed and diverse family of hydrolytic enzymes that are important toxicity factors in the interactions between fungi and their hosts. Herein, we characterized two MEPs, Mrmep1 and Mrmep2, in using gene deletion.

The effectiveness of the microbial pest control agent, however, is limited by poor thermotolerance. The molecular mechanism underlying the response to heat stress in the conidia of entomopathogenic fungi remains unclear.

By the method of principal component analysis, this paper analyzed the characteristic parameters of arthropod community and its phytophagous and predacious sub-communities in grapery. The results showed that in the first principal component, the contribution of arthropod community, phytophagous sub-community and predacious sub-community was 66.70%, 73.

The results showed that between the two graperies, the individual number, concentration value, evenness, and Hill diversity index of arthropod community had no significant difference, but its species number and abundance was significantly different (P < 0.05).

This study showed that the diversity index of total arthropod community in peach orchards was significantly correlated to the diversity index of both phytophages (r = 0.9480) and predators sub-communities (r = 0.7855), and the two sub-communities were correlative (r = 0.

The spatial structure and spatial correlativity of Aphis gossypii and Erigonidium graminicola populations during different periods were investigated by geostatistic methods. The results showed that the semivariogram of A. gossypii appeared as spherical type, indicating its spatial pattern was an aggregated type with a range of 7.

Investigations on the Erythroneura sudra and Erigonidum graminicola populations in three layers (upper, middle and lower) and four directions (east, south, west and north) of peach tree crown showed that both of them had aggregated spatial distributions in these 7 part, because 5 parameters used to analyze the distribution reached required standard. Each insect was attracted by the others, as the parameter (alpha) in Iwao formulation m* = alpha + beta x - (1971) was positive. The average density of aggregation was the biggest in its middle layer and east direction, and the smallest in its lower layer and south direction.

Investigations on structure of arthropod community in peach gardon were conducted with the principal component analysis, the optimal sorting method and fuzzy clustering analysis. The results showed that more obvious main factors and temporal patterns exist in the community. Dealing with the population dynamics of 55 species of arthropods by fuzzy clustering analysis and taking lambda = 0.

The spatial construction and distribution of Erythroneura sudra and Erigonidum gramimicola at different periods were investigated with geostatisics. The results showed that the semivariogram of Erythroneura sudra was described by spherical model, indicating an aggregated spatial arrangement. The range was 25.

The more wheat stalks the adult Chrysopa septempunctata encountered, the more interference was met during the predation of C. septempunctata, which means that the predation efficiency was low when the spatial heterogeneity was complex. The coefficient of mutual interference within C.
