This study explores the impact of oxygen vacancy defects on elevated-metal metal-oxide (EMMO) IGZO TFTs under positive bias stress (PBS) using TCAD and DFT simulation. Findings reveal that oxygen vacancies accumulating at the channel/passivation layer interface and within the channel under PBS lead to negative threshold voltage shifts and reduced mobility. Additionally, higher tail state densities contribute to a positive Vth shift.

In recent years, halide perovskite materials have become widely used in solar cells, photovoltaics, and LEDs, as well as photocatalysis. Lead-free perovskite CsBiI has been demonstrated as an effective photocatalyst; however, the fast recombination of the photogenerated carriers hinders further improvements of its photocatalytic activity. In this work, TiC was composited with CsBiI to promote the transfer and separation of photogenerated carriers, and thus the pollutant degradation efficiency was effectively improved.

Aim: With the development of the social economy, commercial health insurance in China has gradually been recognized by residents, but it is still in the initial stage of the market. To identify influencing factors of residents' intention to purchase commercial health insurance and to explore the influencing mechanism and heterogeneity of intention, this study aimed to reveal the formation mechanism of intention to purchase commercial health insurance.

Methods: This study introduced water and air pollution perceptions as moderating variables and, constructed a theoretical framework combining the stimulus-organism-response model and the theory of reasoned action models.

Background: Particulate matter (PM) exposure is closely associated with male infertility. Even though an association between poor semen quality and PM exposure has been widely accepted, which and when the semen parameter could be affected are still controversial. The purpose of this study is to estimate the effects of PM exposure on semen quality in Huai'an, China.

We have designed microcapsules-immobilized composite capsules and evaluated the oral delivery efficacy. The composite capsules were developed by encapsulating Perinereis aibuhitensis extract (PaE), a model substance possessing antioxidant activity, loaded gum Arabic/gelatin microcapsules in calcium alginate (CA) hydrogel (PaE:CA/GA/GE-CCs). In vitro antioxidant assay showed the obtained composite capsules were able to protect PaE from gastric acid, since O scavenging rate of encapsulated PaE was about 1.

In this study, we reported calcium-doped biosilica (Ca-biosilica) with multiple hemostatic properties derived from Coscinodiscus sp. frustule. The incorporation of calcium into the diatom frustule was achieved by a simple biosynthetic route through feeding the diatoms with calcium chloride, which was confirmed by calcein staining and EDXS.

Objective: To investigate the role of the serum inhibin B (INHB) level in evaluating the testicular function of the prepubertal patient with varicocele (VC) after high ligation of the spermatic vein (HLSV).

Methods: This study included 31 prepubertal male patients with left VC, averaging 12.55 years of age and 9 complicated by right VC.

Extracting light from quantum dot light emitting diodes (QLEDs) by applying optical-functional nanostructures inside and outside the devices is essential for their commercial application in illumination and displays. In this paper, we demonstrate the highly effective extraction of waveguided light from the active region of QLEDs by embedding internal grating patterns fabricated using a nanoimprint lithography technique. The grating couples out waveguide mode power into the substrate without changing the device's electrical properties, resulting in an increase in both the external quantum efficiency and luminous efficiency for a green QLED from 11.

In the basic oxygen steelmaking process, the endpoint temperature of the molten steel is one of the key factors whether the molten steel is qualified for tapping. Currently, it mainly relies on the experienced operators to control the endpoint temperature of the molten steel, and the prediction precision may vary among different operators. In order to realize the effectively end-point steel temperature prediction of the basic oxygen furnace as well as to meet the requirement of different sizes of the converter mouth, a new method based on the flame temperature measurement at the converter mouth was proposed in this paper.
