Given the limited treatment options and high mortality rates associated with gastric cancer, there is a need to explore novel therapeutic options. The present study aimed to investigate the efficacy of lenvatinib, a multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor, in mitigating the progress of gastric cancer . Comprehensive analyses were conducted to assess the impact of lenvatinib on gastric cancer cells, focusing on the inhibition of viability, suppression of proliferation, induction of apoptosis and reduction of metastatic potential.
