In this study, we have designed and synthesized a novel 'AND' logic based fluorescence probe,1-(3',6'-bis((tert-butyldiphenylsilyl)oxy)-3-oxospiro (isoindoline-1,9'-xanthen)-2-yl)-3-phenylthiourea (FPSi), for the rapid (3 min) simultaneous detection of F and Hg in DMSO/HO solution (7:3, v/v). The FPSi probe, synthesized over three steps starting from commercially available fluorescein, was constructed by attaching tert-butyldiphenylsilyl and thiosemicarbazide (as the specific identification groups for F and Hg) to the skeleton of fluorescein, respectively. FPSi produced no fluorescence response towards the addition of F or Hg separately.

Both artificial and natural selection during domestication has resulted in remarkable changes in behavioral, physiological, and morphological phenotypes; however, the genetic mechanisms underpinning these changes remain unclear, particularly for indigenous Chinese sheep. Previous work has demonstrated that the sensitization of spinal neurons and microglia is important in the development of pain behaviors induced by BmK I, a Na channel activator and a major peptide component of the venom of the scorpion Buthus martensi Karsch (BmK). We found that the expression of P2X7 receptors (P2X7Rs) was up-regulated in the ipsilateral spinal dorsal horn after BmK I injection in rats. A strategy to determine the elemental composition of organic impurities in commercial preparations was established by combining high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR-MS) and fraction collector with direct infusion-FT-ICR-MS (DI-FT-ICR-MS). Under HPLC-FT-ICR-MS mode, all impurities in model sample were chromatographically separated and collected by fraction collector according to their retention time. A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted between March 2017 and June 2017 among patients culled from a manufacturer's database to identify factors that influence psychosocial adjustment in Chinese patients with an enterostoma.
